I joined Hack Forums only a few months ago but was an active member ever since. The good news is that I got admission in one of the best schools in my state. The bad news is that it has a reputation for being a very strict school. I will have to stay in the school hostel. The hostel warden(🤭) is even stricter. So, from now on I will refer to the school \hostel as "prison", because, in my case, these words have the same meaning😭. So I got sentenced to upto 2 years of imprisonment for scoring good marks in the entrance exam. I will be allowed to go out of the prison once in a month.

I won't miss my movies, I might miss by home, but I will definitely miss you guys on Hack Forums. I might have limited access to the Internet at school but I am sure sites like Hack Forums will be blocked. I am very good with Windows XP but they might have upgraded to Windows 7. These are the two hurdles that will be standing between you and me from next month.

So, there are the things I need:

1) A good book that will help an XP geek to become a 7 geek (I don't want to start from scratch, but rather migrate).
2) An effective method to bypass the internet restrictions. I am sure I will bypass them but if you have some novel ideas, please post 'em.
3) An effective method to clean my tracks, including cookies, history, browser cache etc.
4) USB drives are not allowed. A good place\method to store my stuff (offline or\and online).
5) An online passwords manager as an alternative to KeePass.

If anybody could help me on any of the above mentioned things or think I should add something more to my list, please post a reply.

Get a proxy list on here and put it in your browser through the browsers connection options make sure to get 5 working ones so that you will be fine if one dies. Then make sure to always clear your cache history and cookies through the browser settings as well. If the proxy method to get on HF does not work (it should though) then just ping HF in CMD and type the ip in your web browser and you will be on. Good luck!

You said USB are banned, how about CDs ?
Boot any live cd and there will be no restrictions or tracks.
Good encryption method is True Crypt (you'll need administrator for this)
Instead of proxy you can use filterbay.com to avoid content restriction

A live CD won't be helpfull because:

1) Why should the school computer have a CD drive.
2) Even if it has one, another operating system running on the school computer will grab a lot of attention both from other inmates and the prison authorities.

I can't use filterbay.com because the site is banned by Hackforums. I can not post, read threads, or access the forum. But thanks for the share, as it may be of use for other things.

If you get the free version you cant put big shit online (limit 2G? but you can extend it by making other email adresses member)

If you want to get past the internet restrictions, you can go into the Internet Options and change the DNS to Googles PublicDNS. (Primary: 8.8.8.8 Secondary: 8.8.4.4)

You'll Administrator to get into the Internet Options though.

I'd put a small, thin USB thumb drive, or SD card, in your hair (grow it out), or stick it in your asscrack (not kidding), or even in your mouth. Take one on campus, and don't get fucking caught. Download portable tor, firefox, and even a portable USB linux for those late night pornographic adventures.

1. Nothing much, as 7 is just sleeker in design, but pretty similar with functions.

2. Proxies and VPNs are the only method I know mate. Try TOR, it might help. Or you can just try to "hack" the router, and give yourself access. :P

4. SkyDrive or DropBox, whichever suits you.

5. Online? Just use Notepad, and store it in DropBox. :)

• Take your shoe, and take out the sole
  


• Take your USB drive, and place it near the front, after the arch
  


• Take some duct tape, and put it over the USB Drive
  


• Place sole back in shoe
  


• You have then brought your weed, er, USB Drive on campus
