That'd be impossible. There's no software in existence that can translate perfectly. Plus, I bet that'd cause a huge amount of stress on the server, to be constantly & instantly translating.

Although it can't be done perfectly, a translate button would be nice, and wouldn't put too much on the server, as it only does on request. Then current staff(And members) could get the gist of what is being said there.

I myself contacted a member yesterday concerning two threads in the French section and together we took care of it.
Simple as that.
Yep it's as easy as that.
If you need help with the Spanish Section, I'm your Guy.

I think moderators should be appointed.
I can moderate the Dutch section, if needed.
A little off-topic, but Elektrisk, do you have a Scandinavian keyboard?

No, I just have Swedish (Sweden) set as an alternative layout option. I set XP to switch between the two layouts when I press shift + ctrl. I just memorized where the keys are. I still have an American keyboard, but it works as a Swedish keyboard when it's set to Swedish. A problem is, though, that the key for "<" is between left shift and 'z' on a Swedish keyboard, and since there obviously isn't a key there on an American keyboard, I have to switch to the US layout if I want to type < :p
I find them easy to moderate.
Is the post too short? Low quality
Is there a link to a site? Advertising.
Or if the report comes from a good, recognized member, I trust their judgement and moderate.

Right, but a problem that exists is there might not be anyone willing to report the problem. For example, that thread about making a new hacking site in the Spanish section didn't get reported until eight months after it was made. I've also seen mentions of a "hackforum.fr" in the French section, but I don't know French, so I can't validate my suspicions that it might be similar to the Spanish problem.

That's right, I am totally sure Azerty is the most suitable person on HF to moderate the Dutch section.
Is an only Spanish hacking forum really a HF competitor?

Well, I very much doubt it'd drive away much HF traffic, but I think it's the principle that matters. I know that that's a cop out phrase, but I'm just talking out of my ass; I don't make the rules

No one visit the Spanish section, is like dead.
Any one else have opinions on this?
In the past two days, I've had to manually report two low quality posts in the Scandinavian section via PM to a moderator. The first time, the reason it was being reported was obvious. The second time, however, it required me translating the topic/poll/about 3 posts/the post I was reporting and some annotations in the translation because of the nature of Swedish grammar. This is rather arduous. I think it'd be easier if there was a mod who could just look at it and decide, like the current mods do with the English sections.
These sections will probably be closed down under new ownership. I think they are failed anyways.
