Oh my god that thread is killing me. I say this section needs to be upgrade only because of that. To all the people that say they would just leave, they are probably going to leave after they get flamed for joining that day and not getting the help they want anyway.

Well, I highly doubt Omni will restrict new members all-in-all. Although, I do support this suggestion.

Maybe you should reword it: Ban the asking for DDoSing Sites/Home Connections?

I absolutely disagree with this.
I have never posted a thread in this section , but I do occasionally see non-upgraded members post a site that does have a genuine reason to be taken down.. Like someone psoted an extremely racist site there once , if only L33T's and Ub3rs could post there then no-one would have ever attempted to hack it , and it wouldn't be down now..

Also , it is true that most users join the site for that section.. If they couldn't post there they would just immediately leave which would slowly shrink HF's community. Being able to post there and ask for help , encourages them to meanwhile look around the site and get involved.

I think that we should just leave the section and not care about it, nothing is gonna get accomplished in that section, just let them spam and what-not, it is better to have all the garbage centered in one spot that all over the forum.

It's sections like this, and the Beginner Hacking forum(which is full of "Please, how do I port forward", and "Help me hack my friends facebook"), that reel in new members.
When a new member joins, he has nothing to post about. That's not to say he doesn't have any good Ideas, but he is unsure about the waters ahead of him.
No one's first post was HQ, I'm pretty sure my first post was reported and deleted, and you know where that post was made? Beginner Hacking forum, I was most likely asking something dumb like how to DDoS with MSPaint or something.
I consider myself somewhat HQ, and I owe that to my first post. After I saw how badly my LQ post was ignored, I decided to comeback with a different mindset, and so far it's worked.

Plus, consider this, if these boards are removed, where will the new members post their crap?
The hacking board will be flooded with simple request, the coding boards would be flooded with MSDOS bach cascade 'viruses', the lounge would be flooded with dumb introductions and request.
If their isn't a specific place for this chaos, it will spread over the entire forum.

You guys need to stop thinking that stamping L337 on everything makes it better.
If I'm not L337 it's because I can use those 19 bucks to feed my family, not because I'm not willing, or have nothing, to contribute to the community.
