Omg. Why couldn't I come to you before... I paid someone £20 to get my phone unlocked and it never worked... No sign of the person refunding me and ain't even replying to my messages on this forum

Lol I can unlock it just fine. Especially if it is at&t. If you can pm me the imei I can do a status check. But no matter what I can unlock any at&t iPhone easily. So you can use other sim cards.

Yes you can, but you will need to go to a sprint store and ask them for a simcard for the account. They will sell you a sim card for $10 and switch your account to it. Now all you have to do is get your unlocked at&t iphone 4s and put in the sim card. It would work fine, a buddy of mine did it. Pm me if you would like me to unlock.

I don't understand, if I wanna give my iPhone (Sprint) to my girlfriend, and I'm on the 2 year contract (I've completed one year) then how is she gonna put her sim card in the phone i give her, especially with the whole GSM/CDMA thing?

She will not be able to. Unlock the sprint iPhone has a simcard slot (some of the models do if your lucky)
