Well I personally love this anime, I'm pretty sure mostly everyone has watched it already but I decided to make a review on it because it makes me cry every time. I would appreciate some feedback as well. Also a big thanks to AdvanceWolf for the GFX

Watch Clannad first before watching Clannad AfterStory

Story 10/10

At first glance you may think of this anime as childish and foolish, but their is a deeper story behind it a beautiful story that moves you, and changes you for the better. The first arc of this anime is slow nothing to tell about the story at all just a build up of Sunohara and his little sister Mei, but after the first 8 episodes it picks up and tells the most beautiful story I have ever seen in an anime. Such a heart-warming story that no one can ever forget, you will go through such an emotional roller coaster watching this anime, this anime touches your heart, watching this made me laugh, cry, this anime will move you in many ways, and is a definite must watch if you haven't.

Animation/Art 10/10

The landscaping and background in this anime is very beautiful, the artwork was very well done. such beautiful lighting the colors are so deep and rich and vibrant, each character was done excellent. Every scene was done beautifully especially the way the cherry blossoms fall off the trees.

Sound 10/10

To start the opening of this anime is very beautiful, whenever I start this anime I could never skip the opening, but the ED of it is very annoying to me I didn't like it at all, the mood of the ED song was not one which you would have felt at the end of the anime. But the OST makes up for it, Clannad AfterStory has the most beautiful musical scores I have heard in an anime, even listening to the OST can make you cry the music is just so touching and beautiful. The voice acting is top-notch the voice actors fit their characters perfectly, I personally enjoyed the voice acting of Ushio/Nagisa/Tomoya/Akio.

Characters 10/10

I loved the characters in AfterStory, by far one of the strongest points in this anime, the character development in this anime is very strong and you feel for them strongly this is one of the reasons this anime has such an emotional impact on its viewers. The personalities of these characters are very funny/cute they go along with each character well, it shows that each character is not perfect like some animes make it out to seem, seeing a character suffer in this anime is one of the hardest things to see its as if someone you know personally is suffering. That is how strong this character development is, and how well the characters play out.

Enjoyment/Overall 10/10

I've seen multiple animes that didn't make me cry that were "suppose to" Such as Elfen Lied, Grave of Fireflies etc.. but when I saw Clannad I cried on another level, I shed tears like a girl multiple times while watching this anime. It shows your true emotional side when I finished watching this anime I watched it again and again skipping through some scenes though but even still it made me cry. This anime by far impacted me emotionally to the max I enjoyed this anime greatly and will watch it again and again because it still makes me cry.
