Summary:

Yuuta Togashi suffered from chuunibyou while he was in middle school. When he graduated, he put that dark history behind him and forgot about it... or he was supposed to. High school was smooth sailing and full of enjoyment—until the unavoidable, sad event occurs. The event that locks Yuuta into a contract with Rikka Takanashi and disrupts his desperately ordinary life.

Plot:

It seems like with school-based anime, the plot is sometimes limited, especially when there are no supernatural events, etc. That being said, the plot for this was pretty decent. Everything fit together seemingly perfect at the end. This series really makes you realize that people can be a lot different than what they appear to be on the outside.

I was also glad to see that there were no episodes that made me say, "Oh, lame, a filler >.>". Of course, it is a shorter series, but obvious effort was put into making sure that there was a plot in every episode which would contribute to the overall story.

Characters:

The characters in this were really great. Some of them became friends in strange, unexpected ways. I feel like the most important characters were well-developed, but some of the supporting characters weren't. That being said, it is important to remember that the series is shorter than most, so it would be difficult to fit everything in, while maintaining solid entertainment, and story.

Each character provided great humor, and had me laughing the whole time. Although this is true, they all seemed to know the right times for their humor, and when to be serious, so the mood was never ruined by some attempt to fit in a laugh.

Thoughts:

Overall, this series is completely amazing. There was comedy like Angel Beats, and romance like Toradora!. Everything just seemed to fit.

I can't really complain about anything, except that it had to end so early. The only place they could go from there, would be to develop supporting characters, so it is understandable that they would end it at 12.

I highly recommend this one to anyone who enjoys romance/comedy/drama.
