:@Echo
cls
echo --
echo "@echo off" is one of the most basic batch commands. It's useful fo

prevent command ECHO from showing itself during the use of a .bat file. It

must be the first command line to write in every .bat file.
echo --
pause
goto Basic

:Echo/Pause
cls
echo The command "Echo" is very important. It shows a text, very simple.
echo For example, we're going to write "Hello World!".
echo --
echo EXAMPLE: @echo off
echo    echo Hello World!
echo    pause
echo    exit
echo --
echo What have we done? Simple.
echo "@echo off" it's needed for preventing command "ECHO" for showing

itself during .bat file's use.
echo If you insert command "ECHO" it will show our phrase "Hello World!".
echo "Pause" it's needed for stopping .bat file, and it will continue if

the user want to press any key.
echo Command "EXIT" will exit the batch file when the user press any key.

location.
echo --
echo Example: @echo off
echo    copy (FileChosenByYou) (Directory)
echo    exit
echo --
echo After you write "Copy", you have to write the name of the file you

want to move into a different place. The location is changeable from every

user.
echo There are A LOT of commands to use with the basic COPY.
echo /A = Indicates an ASCII text file.
echo /B = Indicates a binary file.
echo /V = Verify that new files are written without errors.
echo /Y = It shows a prompt asking for a confirm for an overwrite a file

in the existing destination.
pause
goto Basic

:Ren
cls
echo Command "RENAME" it's useful for rename a file.
echo --
echo EXAMPLE:  @echo off
echo     RENAME (Drive)(Path) File1 File2
echo     exit
echo --
echo It can be used REN instead of RENAME.
pause
goto Basic

:Del
cls
echo Command "DELETE" (or "DEL" or even "ERASE") can be used for deleting

one or more files.
echo --
echo EXAMPLE:   @echo off
echo    DEL (Drive)(Path)FILENAME [/P]
echo    exit
echo --
echo There are more commands to use, for example /P, which will prompt fo

confirmation before deleting your chosen files, and /Q, which will not ask

confirmations.
pause
goto Basic

:Title
cls
echo This command is very simple. You can change the title of your Batch

File just writing like in this example.
echo --
echo EXAMPLE:  @echo off
echo    title (YourTitle)
echo    exit
echo --
pause
goto Basic

:Color
cls
echo You can even change the color of your file.
echo --
echo EXAMPLE:    @echo off
echo     color 0f
echo     echo Hello World!
echo     pause
echo --
echo There are more combinations of color. The first number (0) means the

color of the background. The letter (f) means the color of the words.
echo There are a lot of colours.
echo 0 = Black    A = Light Green
echo 1 = Blue     B = Light Aqua
echo 2 = Green    C = Light Red
echo 3 = Aqua     D = Light Purple
echo 4 = Red    E = Light Yellow

echo     echo Say Hi!
echo     pause
echo     cls
echo     echo Say Hi Again!
echo     pause
echo     cls
echo     exit
echo --
echo It's very useful for making some "order" after a lot of words, but

it's nothing special.
pause
goto Basic

:Start
cls
echo The command "START" is used to open programs, even websites.
echo --
echo EXAMPLE    @echo off
echo    start (program)
echo --
echo Instead of "PROGRAM" you have to choose a file.
echo For example, if you want to open Paint, you have to create a batch

file like this.
echo --
echo EXAMPLE  @echo off
echo     start mspaint.exe
echo --
echo Here you are, you've just opened Paint.
echo Like I previously said, you can open websites and choose a determined

browser for it!
echo --
echo EXAMPLE  @echo off
echo     start iexplore.exe http://Google.com
echo --
echo "iexplore.exe" is Internet Explorer's process. You can remove it and

leave only the URL and the START command, or change it with other process,

for example "chrome.exe", which opens Google Chrome. You can do it with

EVERY browser you want.
pause

echo    ping localhost -n 2 >nul
echo    cls
echo    Loading...
echo    ping localhost -n 2 >nul
echo    cls
echo    Loading Completed!
echo --
echo Between "Loading" and "Cls",you have to insert "PING", then "LOCALHOST" (which is your PC). Then "-n 2", which is the duration of waiting from one message to another in seconds (2) and then ">nul". See? It's very simple.
pause
goto Basic

:Advanced
echo Select some options!

echo     if (PERCENT SYMBOL)(VARIABLE NAME)(PERCENT SYMBOL) == 1

goto Eat
echo     if (PERCENT SYMBOL)(VARIABLE NAME)(PERCENT SYMBOL) == 2

goto Run
echo     :Eat
echo     echo Eat...
echo     pause
echo     exit
echo     :Run
echo     echo Run...
echo     pause
echo     exit
echo --
echo "SET /P" Is needed for making a choice.
echo Between "IF" and equals's signs, you have to insert a name between 2

See this is why we have:

Code
@echo off
set /p ch=Enter a command to get help from:
%ch% /?

...And so? Please, tell me what's that code you post.
But do you find useful my source or not? I spent a lot of hours in it.

I think that too much work was put into it. All you had to do was use the code I posted and that's all you need. CMD explains it all.

This is pretty good. Something for the absolute beginners to use. Also about that cipher thing, can anyone explain what it is?
You started just like me. Started at the bottom, and got a few better examples. Go ahead and use the examples you got! It can be quite helpful. :)

So, if I understand, do you want me to make a 2°nd version? 🤝
