For all those who are bored and don't know what to code

If you are bored and don't know what to script here is my idea:

Make a text based game like HackTheGame.

What is HackTheGame?

HackTheGame is basically a text based game where you are a hacker and have to accomplish task you get told to. For that it simulates a bash linux terminal.

Your first job in this game for example is to ping a target host, then connect to it via telnet, login and steal a portscanner from the server. After that you have to delete the logs so they can't track you back.

Have fun scripting :)

Is the process of hacking reall? I mean you must use real commands and methods?

No.. Its a lot different than that. Legally, they can not teach you how to "hack". Its in the disclaimer. It is the same concept. You know. Reconnaissance, staying anonymous etc. Otherwise, no you wont learn real hacking from this :P

Look at one of my threads, i made a WIP-Game months ago named "ProfessionalHacker", it had the same structure of gameplay but was just too much for me, maybe i will go for it again and finish it....
Or someone elses finishes it 🤫

Thank you for the idea. I was just working on my sort of advanced terminal (to run a bunch of programs from one place) and the base code is perfect for this. I will post the result when the first mission is finished!

I'm coding a multiplayer game that's sorta like this. It's a new version of slavehack, I might do a singleplayer version to.
