Do you by any chance save the source codes that people compile?

I wouldn't trust anyone with my sensitive source codes, this compiler should be used for little apps that dont matter, not some sensitive programms.

Added some basic CSS to the site. :p (If some designer who's decent at css wants to help me out making the site look good, hit me up!)

I do not save files, pinky promise. 😊 Only use this for small tests, nothing serious.
Probably coding some useless shit.

Keep in mind that although sandboxed applications can't alter things outside the sandbox they can still access and read them just fine, so if you have any sensitive information you might want to make sure they are not accessible. Also as an extra tip, make sure to make some checks as far as memory consumption/cpu usage/time running and so on. (I'm not sure how your application handles while (true) loops and so on but that would be an extra step to ensure that people won't be able to crash your server on purpose). That means you need to move your compiler and the rest of the things you will need to run your app in the sandbox. Either that or start specifying one by one and set special permission for each item which will be a pain down the line if you want to upgrade your project. He's building and running the output, thats it. Just run the build in sandbox, it doesn't matter where it's compiled. |
