Bypassing HWID (I think HWID) Locked Program for Use on 2 PC's

Hello,

I am interested in buying a program that is limited to 1 PC. I assume it is locked by HWID. Once I buy it I can have it transferred to a different computer once every 2 months, so it wouldn't help transferring it between my two PC's that I use frequently.

  1. Of course there is the option of a VPS, but I don't want that extra cost.

  2. I could keep one computer on while I am using the other and connect via Remote Desktop. This would cost a little less than a VPS in electricity, but it is still an extra expense that I really want to avoid.

  3. I don't know much about Virtual Machines, but if they have their own HWID's separate from my computer I guess I could make the same machine on both computers. But I have absolutely no clue if that would work.

  4. Anyone else have any other ideas?

Thanks!
The HWID will probably be based on your processor ID.

If it's a simple program, learn some reverse engineering then go from there.
Use this section for reverse engineering https://hackforums.net/forumdisplay.php?fid=229.
HWID has nothing to do on what you're talking about, It gets the Computers Hardware ID and gets the hash of the processor and that's your HWID. It cannot be changed or duplicated.

Exactly. That is why I was wondering if a vitual machine has its own as it compartmentalizes itself from the main computer. But I suppose it doesn't. Thank you!
In vmware I had the same Processor ID as in my PC.
Remember that HWID is generated by combining some other stuff too so it will still be differrent on a vm.
Okay. Just thought it was worth a shot. As for reverse engineering, this is a fairly popular program and almost everyone agrees that it's airtight. It has heavy security, heavier than any program that I've ever seen.
