Introduction:
As many might know, 143's one year anniversary is quickly upcoming... quite exactly, it's today: September 29.
Our beloved group -- both to its members and a strong portion of the community -- is turning one year old today.
Publicly, we, as current and past 143 members, would be surprisingly ungrateful to not appreciate both of our great leaders at this time: Daisy and Cody.
Without these two individuals, 143 would be nonexistent - There would be no group; there would be no legacy.

143 is the best I've ever been in. As many have said, it really is a family. We all stand together as one, working in unity and serving the public in the ways we always believed should of been. For me, when I first got that invitation to the group my heart skipped a beat. My wife (fiance at the time) saw how ecstatic I got upon reading it. Hell, I even have it archived in a perosnal folder. Each and every single member here in 143 have been amazing, and will continue to be. I don't know if the plans for selling the group are still in action, but if it does wind up being sold then I sincerely hope the new owner(s) will keep it as it is. This group is full of some of the most intelligent, caring and considerate people with brilliant innovative minds. In my opinion that is what makes this place so special. And not even to just us members either, but also to nonmembers. Do you know what I would think whenever I saw someone with a 143 tag on their accounts before I was a member? I adolized them, and confidently knew without a doubt that they were someone that I could get along with. That comforting feeling you get when you meet someone just like you in philosophy and personality? That awesome feeling? Yeah, thats it in a nutshell. I wanted to be with this group and heard so many great things. Then "BAM!" I was welcomed in, and I'll never forget this place and all it's people. 143 is the best thing thats ever happened in HackForums. This place wound up, during periods of time, becoming a relatively dark place. Filled with excessive trolls, racists, bigots, and just all around assholery. When 143 came along, it restored that balance that was necessary. HackForums became a better place, and will stay that way now. Personally I'd like to thank everyone here, and I mean it when I say "Thank you. You changed the world. All of you." :)

143.. I get nostalgic remembering the day I got the invite, I actually thought it was a joke, because I don't see myself as fit, I still don't, people in here are too good for me, I am just a mere person that got in, luckily, I will still say. Basically, the day I got the invite, I questioned Daisy, if it was a joke, and why I got invited, at which, she told me was a secret, but I finally realised that it was real, and I was quite happy if I must say so myself. So, what happened was I joined the group, my 2nd group, it was amazing, but yet not as expected, as I joined, there was a calm aura there, a home-ly and chilled place, where no one was made to felt like being in a group, and soon, I began trusting people, creating a 2nd (3rd if we count my boardingschool) family. I learned that there were people, showing the same passion as I, to help, to gather, to be together, and wanting nothing in return, I was amazed, I was basically using all my time with these people, I really enjoyed my time, and best of all, I made friends, which I will not part with, not after the group. I have told myself some times "here is no better time to part, then when we wish for it never to end", yet, I could not do anything than hope that this would never happen, I ended up getting quite close with Daisy, she would always help out, I met Evangelist, which ended up as a close friend of mine, I grew relationships, with people I have never met, and I love it. Despite that the group went through hard times here and there, never once did I get the feeling of leaving, it was amazing, even if the group will disappear now, I think we will keep talking, we are not just a group anymore, we are a lot more, I was happy to get welcomed, to be honest, when I first joined, I just thought it was for people doing giveaways, never have I been so wrong... So, that's the prologue, let me describe a bit of how it was. As I joined, I was sitting, excited, and joined as many giveaways as possible, tried to arrange some, and sooner or later, I began doing some graphics for the group, the graphics always ended as a first priority, because of the people, they were respectful, and soon it felt like helping out a friend. Daisy, was always there, she was like a mother, and Cody a father, I won't lie. Evangelist soon became like a brother, and soon I began sharing parts of my life there, but what hit me the most, was the day when my girlfriend broke up with me after 2 years, I grew cold, I was sad, I was literally just sitting, but yet, these people looked despite that, they saw I was having a bad time, so they supported me, as friends, as a family would do, some said "it will be better" others gave some help to moving on, it just ended up to show that they were there for me. I am not a guy that trusts people easily, yet, despite the cheesy line, these people found a fast way into my heart, I felt home, the atmosphere of the group was just so kind, so innocent, we were just kidding, having fun, wrote a couple of tutorials, and doing some giveaways, yet it was never obligated, we could always chose not to participate, yet I felt like, I began growing closer, I went to people with some personal problems, at the same time I did help some, I even began partnering when helping out in the Innuendo section, because these people knew what they were talking about. Now, we are a family, we care and share, we help as we wish, we are not strangers anymore. This group have meant a lot to me, and I am so sad that it will go, but I also knew the time would come, I only wish for the next leader to let it stay, to let it be as it was when I got invited, actually I don't mind it as it is now. We are and will always be 143, we are not a group, we are a family gathered of friends. This is our first and probably last anniversary, so I will finish by saying:
Thank you, 143, and see you.

This group was the sole reason I had any confidence towards my life as a parent. When I joined this group my wife was pregnant, and I had no idea on how to prepare myself to be a parent, I was considering abortion and members helped me gain confidence and trust my maturity. The member that shared his experience with me was malichi but the others also helped me greatly. I cannot thank them enough. Honestly, the group even though it is a sub-forum on Hackforums, gave me the sense of family that I never truly had. I learned so much from this group that I can’t possibly describe it. I was group less for a few months and since I had nothing to do, I started to make my way to the innuendo section, and started giving advice non-stop, but the topics started to get stale and repetitive and there was no excitement or novelty so, I was planning on never going online again, one day, I was posting on the member “Upgraded lounge” in the VIP section, I was on the UserCP , I fell asleep, and when I woke up, I refresh the page and saw I had two PM’s, one was from Daisy asking me how I was, and the other was from Cody titled “143 Invitation” I thought they were trolling me but, it wasn’t a troll. The group impacted me significantly, I started to have awesome times on HF, I started posting way more, it was the high point of my HF time. I learned how to control my emotions, how to channel them so that I didn’t hurt those around me, it taught me to value family, friends and it lessened my massive hate. I was a very hateful person and now I earned what you call “neutrality” and “kindness” it was all cause of the generosity and care the members showed one another. This is not a group, this is a life lesson. Honestly, this is the best group on hackforums and though it is about to be sold, I am more than happy it got to 1 year. Lately not many groups make it to 1 year, I am happy I got to experience it and learn so much from it.

143. Where do I begin? 143 was the group that really got me started on HF. I was still a L33t just mixing in with everyone else, nothing special that I could see, so it was the biggest surprise to be invited to the group by Daisy when it all started. I still have the PM saved in my messages also, in case you were wondering. At the start of the group, everyone was so open and friendly, so making friends with the members in the group was not a hard task. I'm still glad to know most of the people I met along the way up to today and will try to keep these friendships going for a long time. The group for me was a home and place where I could go to be myself. You were never judged for expressing yourself, there were always people to support you, and everyone accepted the kind of person you showed yourself as. Not only were they accepting to the members of the group, but most of the people inside 143 were extremely caring and generous, helping out members in any way possible around the forum on a daily basis. It really helped be strive to become a better person and what I am today. Over the months that I have been in the group, I can say that I do not regret a single second of being in the group, and would do it all over again if I was given the opportunity. It's sad that the group is possibly coming to a close because it has held such a special place in my heart, but I know that I'll still have the memories and friends that I obtained from my time in 143 and that's all that really matters. Happy Anniversary to my favorite group on here, and I'm glad that we could do so much on HF during our time here.

An impact the group had on all of us, which was there from the start is definitely that it brought us very close to each other, so close that we sent real life gifts to each other. It was amazing how much trust we had to each other. The group brought us so close, that we called the group for our e-Family/Online Family. We build an amazing community, just by the few of us, whom was there from day 1. 143 made me stay at HF. I was slowly about to leave, as I couldn't find interest in anyone anywhere, untill I got an invite from Cody late night at October the 3rd, if I remember correct. 143 have also made me help other peoples which need it - back in time, I was like: "If I help you, I want money" since I was invited, and met all those helpful and nice members, which taught me to help others without wanting anything back, I've done it as often as I could. What we learned while in the group I learned a lot. I learned to trust, I learned to take care, I learned to love, I learned to help, I learned to believe. IMO I learned everything which is important in life. What the group has done for us The group for us have made a forever lasting relationship to the ones you've been talking with on a daily basis for almost a year now. I've enjoyed being in the group, because of all what I've learned, all whom I've met, all what we have done together as a family - or as a group if you wish. For us, it was a family.

Well, I was probably one of the first members in this group and my time in the group was amazing, Daisy helped me through so much she is what I would call a Leader of a group. I wasn't really socially awkward as much when I was in 143, I was more open and a lot more talkative, shit, I use to have the most posts in the sub forum. So to be honest the group was like a small family, were you could care/trust and have people there for you, Especially Daisy & Yellows. There was only really 2/3 members I actually spoke to when I was in the group, Yellows/Daisy and Hazy and they had a major impact on me they were like my best friends, I could tell yellows anything in the world and not expect him to judge me like anyone else. I could talk to daisy about things as a friend and knowing she is going to listen, Hazy.. Hazy was just hazy, we've spoke a few times, the times we have were about problems we solved. Members of the group, impacted me a lot and to be honest, a few of them members actually saved me, BIG TIME! I enjoyed it because I wasn't just a lurker, I actually posted and had a laugh, not saying the groups I'm currently in aren't a good laugh but to be honest, nothing will ever beat 143's lounge moments.

143 is what made me come to HF every day. 143 made me become as one calls it 'active' and made me stay, whatever happened during my time on HF. I've been with 143 since the start, which is now 12 months ago, and right now when I see that 143 may end soon it makes me think about my future on HF. I don't see myself on HF that much longer without a group that cares and loves. During my stay in 143 I learned more then once could learn from the Help Documents. May sound a bit weird but the members in 143 are special. Members were not chosen because of 'stats' but because of who they are; and that is what makes 143 different from other groups. Heck, I was a noob with 400-something posts when I was invited into the group. I was a guy that lurked the Batch section and gave advice to people with suicidal thoughts. Point I am trying to get to; 143 was not a group, but a family with people that understood each other. I want to say thank you to every member ever in 143, and of course it's owners Daisy and previous leader Cody. My time on HF will end when 143 ends.

143 is going to be sold, and I am quite upset about this because I resent some involved for this happening. The group wasn't always in such a state, and this is all I have to say about it: We were like a family, as far as a family could go on a forum that is. We cared for each other, helped each other and confided in each other. I spoke of some of my darkest secrets, and I had no fear of them being discussed elsewhere. I know they still won't even as the group closes and is sold. Daisy was the heart of this group, and she made it work really well until things came up. She was caring for the members of the group. She even offered the buy me food once because she thought I had none, but I did so I declined. Over the past year the rise and fall has left me with great memories I don't see myself ever forgetting, and great people I don't see losing anytime soon. Some of the best people I have met online are in this group, and we don't need a group to stay in contact.

I really have no idea where to start; I mean, 143 isn't a group. It's like a little home away from home. It's such a nice place to be in, you can talk to anyone or ask for help and there's always someone there to help you (except for Racutt - he's a dooshDevlish). It's been an absolute pleasure being a member of this amazing group, and I've had some of the best laughs in here. It's such a shame that it has to be sold, but I guess that's just how the wind blows. Whoever ends up purchasing it should definitely keep it the same, it's such a highlight of the forum. Anyway, Happy Anniversary 143, I love you all.

143 is an awesome group to have been in, it's members were handpicked, and rarely problematic. Through hard times, members prevailed, and helped each other. The support people gave each other was unimaginable for an Online Forum. The contributions the group, as a whole, made toward benefiting it's members, and members of HF in general are plentiful, and prominent. It seems every time I look at a feedback thread, people say that we are the group that maintains the highest quality, and I'm proud to have been a part of that. It makes me sad that we might be disbanding, but it's been good.

143 is viewed as a giveaway group to most, however for me, it is my home. A place to turn to when you need opinion, an amazing environment to chat among friends, if I needed advice, this was my favorite & the best place to get it. What ever happens with the group in the future is not in my hands, however it will remain with me for a long time. This is my favorite group, hands down, no second guesses. I would like to thank all the great members within the group as well as the sweetest leader ever for making 143 have such an amazing, uplifting atmosphere.

143 was always the group I wanted to be in. However I saw it as a group. Now that I am a part of it I know that it's more than what you consider as a group. The members are friendly to each other and always cheerful. 143 had a great impact on me as to how to be friendly, caring, helpful and cheerful to anyone you meet. Being in 143 was a memorable experience. It's the group that you can always enjoy to be in. In 143 we don't treat each other's as members but instead, as family members. I wish all 143'ans a happy anniversary!

I couldn't say the group had an impact on me since I joined very recently, like a few months ago. I met a lot of awesome people regardless. They're all kind, and they're all listening to each others. It's like a family, a real family. I'll never forget my experience in 143.

This group has been a family to me since day 1. I was added after Daisy was helping me through relationship problems. I've seen many members come and go, but the ones that I've known the longest, the bonds are amazing.

143 completely changed my view on HF, at first, I didn't really care what I said, how I talked to people or anything like that. But after getting into 143 by Daisy and Cody's grace, I changed to wanting to be nice, to help anyone at anytime and just being more ecstatic about my time on HF. I learned and gained so much from being in 143, I made a lot of new friends, some of those people I haven't talked to in a while but I still remember them. For me being in a community that actually cared how you were doing and even the little things like just making small talk made me love 143. Thanks to Cody and Daisy, live on <3

I joined during the quiet days of 143. I always looked up to the group, way before I joined, it was my goal to one day become a member. I always respected every single person who was a member. It was honestly one of the biggest honors to be invited to join. I still remember getting the PM. It's been an honor to be considered a 143 member, thank you Daisy and Cody for the opportunity. I will miss 143.

143 is one of those groups that disproves the notion that happenings on the internet have no real substance or meaning to our lives. It is my belief that every member of 143, past or present has been positively impacted by their part, small or large, in the group. I relished my time in 143 because it was a collection of people all from their respective corners of the earth. DIfferent personalities, opinions and cultures were brought together to work collectively as not only a family but a single unit, a body. I went through one of the roughest times of my life over the year I have been a part of 143 and while I had my closest friends and family to help me through it, I STILL looked to these people I had never met in person for support, and support I was given. I’m immensely grateful to have been a part of the group and I can’t believe it’s been an entire year already. I learned, I laughed and I loved. No matter what happens, 143 will always be one of the greatest collaboratives have or ever will be a part of, both online and the ol’ real world.

I'd like to say that this group has taught me how to love myself more, to do things that I love even if others don't really recognize it, to be more me. Everyone in the group is down to earth, and even if there was any misunderstandings we would resolve them. It's crazy how personal we were with each other, you would think that sharing your personal life occurrences, real social network profiles to other people on a hacking forum would be kinda of a death trap, but it wasn't at all. It was indeed normal. 143 has saved me as a person. In the time when I was invited, I was deprecating little by little. I was invited by Daisy, the sweetest person I've met online. She was so sweet, it burned because I have never heard such things before. When the group was made, I knew it was a group for me since I'm like a coconut. Really strong and bold in the outside, but once you get to know me, I'm really mushy in the inside. 143 has made me wiser, 143 has made me love more, 143 has made me feel more, 143 has made me isolate the negativity. I love you all. I couldn't get enough of any of you. Remember, Røget ørred.

I unfortunately wasn't able to get my response to the group turned in on time, due to me being in Tuscaloosa all day yesterday. (ROLL TIDE!)
But wow, what this group has done for me. I would like to start by saying how great of friends I always was with everyone in the group. The community showed here could not be matched. I loved all of the members to death.
There was so much respect shown between one another, even when there were arguments. Everything could be worked out and we would still stick together through thick and thin.
It was always nice having someone to talk to as well, as everyone in the group was always willing to lend an ear to hear what problems you had. And the best part, they actually cared and helped you. It was such an amazing feeling.
Usually you don't feel something like that on a community like this you know? A "hacking" community. It really surprised me and obviously intrigued me.
I just could not say thank you enough to Cody and Daisy. I hate that I was kicked from the group for inactivity, I just had other things going on at the time.
Thank you guys, all of 143, for making my stay so cozy.

143 has made an incredible impact on my HF experience. It has always been a group of outstanding individuals to chat with and share fun experiences. Being a member of 143 since the first wave of invites 1 year ago, looking back I've changed a lot because of the group. I help more and show my appreciation more than I ever have since I've been in 143. Thank you to everyone who has stood by our side during the past 1 year, we all appreciate the support. It has been a true honor being a part of 143's time here on HF and I'm glad that I was able to spend all this time that I have been in the group getting to know all of the members of the family and getting closer. Thanks again, and happy anniversary 143.
Your Thoughts:
Has 143, or its members, impacted you in any way, though you've never been in the group yourself? Please, do post your responses below. They're so much appreciated, and may be inserted in this portion of this thread.
In Closing:
Being the third member added into the group in the first days of October, 2012 (after Daisy and Cody), I like to think of myself as the group's "old man," or "senior member." From compiling introductory threads for the sub-forum along with Welcome Private Messages one year ago (Wow -- this remembrance honestly gives me chills), to being excluded from the sub-forum for technical difficulties presently, 143, and its members. have surely been an influencing part of my life. I say say this without a single shadow of a doubt: 143, its leaders, and its members, have proven to me to be more than a group -- more than just "online friends" -- 143 is family. Confiding fully in the majority, if not every member, of this group is what makes this unique; it's what makes this special. From an outsider looking in, putting myself in the shoes of those reading this thread, I wouldn't believe for a second that a collection of members -- an online group -- on a "hacking" forum of all places could impact the daily lives of its members. I'm here to tell you you're wrong. We're not a group. The userbar doesn't matter. We're friends, and we're confidants, and we're family. Once this group is abolished in the future, I have no doubt that I will be keeping in touch with so many of my good friends for years and years to come. 143, you've changed my life more than you could imagine. You've saved me from myself more times than I care to think about. If you're feeling down and out, you know who to come to -- I knew who to come to when I was. Thank you all, and it's been an amazing journey.
Thank you all, Hack Forums, for helping us to achieve this milestone.

Glad I was apart of the group, kind of sad to see it being sold.
So thanks to Daisy and Cody for letting me in on the group when it started and good thread boys/girls.
I am happy to have been allowed to be part of this group and call every member my friend.
