Difference between Malware Bytes scans & &#34;regular&#34; antivirus scans?

I use ESET NOD32 & Malware Bytes, both registered version and up to date.

Can someone explain to me the benefits or pro & cons of running a MalwareBytes "full"/"quick" scan vs scanning my computer with ESET NOD32s scanner or other AV scanners.

Is Malware Bytes better at targeting viruses?

Also, I haven't installed Microsoft Security Essentials, is it truly essential?
Okay, assesing your points from 0 - 3, here is the basic run down my friend :)
 • The benefits of using ESET is: a highly advanced heuristics database file than MalwareBytes (catches all the bad stuff), less use of system resources.

 • MalwareBytes is more of a secondary treatment to scanning for viruses after your primary AV.

 • Microsoft Security Essentials is not as good as ESET because ESET specializes in terminating malware in comparison to Microsoft which is a large company that only focuses on Computers on a macroscopic scale.

No problem, remember, AVs are better than MalwareBytes. Run MBAM after you feel there is a disturbance in the force 🤝

This is me usually, and me is usually right.

So true i am just wondering why so many people in here think that MB will detected more than nod 32 is a realy good choice for a secondary scanner.

Precisely, ESET NoDoors has one of the most advanced heuristics scanning capabilities out of most anti-viruses which includes BitDefender, Avast! and AVG. The list goes on, IMO ESET is the best because it is frequently updated with the best of the best on new viruses and malicious code. I can definitely vouch for that.
