Nexus 10 or Asus Transformer Pad Infinity?

So after hating every single aspect of my fuckin ipad 4 (worst tablet experience i ever had) and after deciding never to get any iOS products again. I am now deciding between the Nexus 10 and the Asus Transformer Pad Infinity.

Nexus 10: Better ram (2GB) - Dual Core Processor - 32 GB.

Asus: Less ram (1GB) - Quad Core Processor - Extendable Memory.

They seem pretty equal in overall aspects but the Nexus 10 is getting Kitkat in few days while Asus is still stuck at Ice cream sandwich.

However the Asus dock seems really good for me.

Can anyone who tried any of them give me some advice?
One of my family members has the ASUS. It is very reliable, and you can get a cheap keyboard for it. I wouldn't be surprised if it gets an update to 4.4 soon. I would choose the ASUS. Hope this helps!

Why there are many reviews online about extreme lagging? Everyone who owns it seems to experience some tough lag on the stock android. The flashing seems to fix it but how come a device like this could be released with such lag!

To be honest, I haven't had much hands-on with the ASUS, but from what I can tell, it is a pretty good device. I don't notice any lagging when I use it, but again, I don't use it daily.

Any more suggestions? i really need to decide today.
I own a Nexus 10, I enjoy it, perfect screen size, and battery is decent.

However the rear camera is in a weird spot especially using the case I'm using, I must take photographs in landscape mode, in portrait my hand is in the way >.<
Never even heard about that Asus tablet. Heard lots of good things about the Nexus though. They seem pretty much the same so it really just comes down to personal preference.
Just ordered the Nexus 10 32GB version. Tons of excellent reviews all over the web besides i can't wait any longer without a tablet so the new nexus is not an option and anyway there are many reviews saying that the new nexus won't be necessarily better in terms of overall performance as the new processor would be down clocked to save battery.
What exactly did you hate about the ipad? If you hate every aspect of it then you won't like any other tablet...

What exactly are you looking for in a tablet? That is the biggest deciding factor.

I am looking for a tablet that i would be able to copy a movie to it in 2 minutes before going to the university (i download movies overnight).

I am looking for a tablet that i could hide or lock my private albums in even if i am the only user of it. You know at least once it will be in the hands of a friend who is checking his email or something.

I need a tablet for which i would be able to download most paid applications from the internet (without paying) at least to try the app before supporting the developers if i liked it.

I need a tablet that would play all video formats smoothly without crappy 3rd-parties.

I need a tablet that won't force me to keep a copy of every single song or movie on my Mac or the syncing process would be crappy as hell.

I need a tablet that would allow me to at least go easily through different versions of OS.

Android can do all except the first two. The second one maybe if there is an app I dont know about; the first one definitely wont happen unless the tab has USB 3.0 which is basically on nothing yet except the Note III.

Regarding the first one, i just meant that i don't have to convert every single damn video before copying it to my Ipad.

Regarding the second one, you can just move the files easily from the gallery using any file manager or you can just rename the files and remove the extensions or even easier there are tons of free apps that create a password protected galleries.

Oh the first one is definitely true then.

Its good you have the second one figured out.
