Q: For Staff/Admins (members can answer it if they know the answer)

I have one question.

I saw that some members have negative reputation and as a comment 'hes a scamer/do not trust hes scamer/etc.'

So as the new rules is here that if you want to -rep someone and a reason is that he scammed you you must provide the thread of a scam.

Question:

Does all of the members who -rep someone and call him a scamer need to provide the thread of him scamming someone? BUT they -rep the person(reason scamer) before this rule(and in their -rep they dont have the url of that thread).

Please answer.

Regards

It was a blast being on staff. I stepped down as it's time for me to move on. I wish you all the best and if you were hit by my warnings and/or bans, it was nothing personal.

Peace out!
Ideas & Suggestions should be in Suggestions and Ideas forum.
Hmmmm....

It can be reported, but i dont think it'll be counted as abuse...

We recommend you take the time to read the HF Help Documents section. The answer to your questions should be contained in there.
Yea i think they need to link the thread on their reps.
No, it can be an opinion, calling someone a Scammer is their opinion.

No, according to the new rules, only the parties to the transaction can negative rep for scamming.

If someone didn't scam you, you can't call them a scammer.
If you are not the one who was scammed, you are not eligible to leave negative feedback regarding that situation.
I think this should be added. But not all scams can be linked to a thread..
Well they cant aply the rule to reps made before the rule.

Hope that helps

@OP, Omni didn't say anything about that, so I suppose not.

Oh I thought he was suggesting something something, my bad.
If you wasn't scammed by them, you cannot called them a scammer. It's in the new rules and counts as rep abuse. Do it and get rep fucked.

Read the new Help Document. Hope that makes it clear for you.
