Legion | How to become a skilled Hacker. (A Beginner's guide to becoming a Hacker)

(Mar 1, 2014 07:37 PM)1n9i9c7om Wrote:  With "learn PuTTY", don't you actually mean learn more about Linux, as you'll most likely control Linux servers via SSH using PuTTY?
There is nothing you have to learn with PuTTY - enter the server IP, done. Everything else is Linux.

I think that's what he meant by "learn PuTTY". No doubt, it should've been learn a Linux distro or something along the line.
I expected more, but I guess this is good for newcomers. The only part I think was some kind of helpful or "HQ" was where you said to ignore learning about ratting & spreading etc. It is probably how most people start today and is indeed very bad.
Although a rather nice thread this would not help many newbags get started as for this is very basic. Great job anywho

The point of it is to be basic... I don't see what you mean here, sorry.

Actually I'm not. Feel free to tell me where I should improve the definition, as it seems you are blind and somewhat ignorant yourself. Though, I'm always open to constructive criticism, so instead of just whining, please tell me where to improve in my definition.

Yeah, that would make much sense. I was essentially saying it in the context mentioned. I will fix that in a second.

Yeah, the definition of hacking shouldn't be limited to computers only. There are other definitions to the term "Hacking", that he could've addressed as well.

For the context of my tutorial the definition I included was appropriate.
(Mar 1, 2014 09:26 PM)Teavana Wrote:  Rating is a gateway to hacking, as is anything malicious - it fuels you to learn, sure it's stupid and pointless in some minds, but don't discourage it. Did you just say rating and essentially spreading will come easy if you know how to program C#? Speechless.

So you tell everyone DDoSing isn't hacking, then suggest we read your thread 'a hackers guide to ddosing' The irony.

Would really not recommend VB or Java to anyone trying to hack, ASM, C, C++, and a handful of database & scripting languages. If you know commands in CMD, great, but it's not vital. Learn commands in, say, I don't know...Terminal?

And your entire thread is based off of these paragraphs. Yikes.
First one can be voided, firstly; Kali shouldn't be installed - ever, perhaps on a virtualbox, but not dualboot, live CD - essential. Secondly, you said you need to learn to hack, don't use software - same goes for Linux, don't jump into Kali, actually learn how to use Linux or don't use it at all. Disgraceful.

Finding eBooks, very insightful. Wow

This has to be the biggest misconception I have yet to read. That's like saying all hackers are thief's. Hacking is literally a simple concept, do some research
Spreading a virus isn't hacking, but how you do it can be, how you keylog and rat or boot can also be hacking.

I get your tutorial is more malicious cyber security hacking and such, but don't claim what is and what isn't, when it's a very big field, obviously one you don't understand.

This forum is filled with people of all variety, if you don't like it - close your laptop. Welcome to reality.

Hackers can be skids, one of the most accomplished hackers is a skid. Do some research.

Thanks for the info!
Clearly you were ignorant to what the first part said. How Keylogging works comes easily when you know a language like C# due to the functions in it that are so often used for KeyLoggers. Make sure to actually read. Speechless.

Now for another accounting of your ignorance. I said booting people offline. That is not hacking. You are putting someone's IP into a little text box, then selecting what type of attack, and how long, and then the port. That is not hacking. Performing a manual DDoS attack kind of is, though it is still technically not hacking, as you are not gaining any data from it, except for how strong a server is in some cases. The reasoning for my title is simple - A DDoS attack is often used by hackers.

The third thing you said is completely opinion based, and the languages I mentioned are very helpful. And CMD in a lot of cases is vital, notice how I didn't say it was always vital?

Does it matter how you install on OS? I said Dual Boot because a VM can cause issues with internet connections. A LiveUSB or LiveCD works fine as well.

And yes, you should learn how to hack. And using software speeds up the process. Though notice how many times I stated one should know how it works? Utter ignorance.

Finding E-books is a good way to find info, because of how many free ones there are. Go to google, search hacking interest E-book, and you can actually learn a lot.

And I do understand it, though RATting is not hacking, even if it's an introduction to one. Take a look at the definition of Hacking.

And yes, I realize the forum is filled with skids. And no, I'd rather not close my laptop. I'd rather help members grow in their hacking capabilities so they don't turn out to be stuck-up, ignorant, users. You know, like you.

And a skid means Script Kiddy. By definition (though it is slang) a script kiddy is someone who just uses tools and doesn't understand them. Again, proving your utter ignorance, I never stated a skid can't be a hacker. It's just better to stay away from being one.

Thanks for the information. Actually wait, you just proved to me your ignorance. Never mind.

c# is simply the language used to program them, I gaurantee there are tons and tons of users using a keylogger right now that literally dont know jack shit of C#, and even the programming language used to program it. Knowing a language doesnt mean you know everything about the things you can program - you can program a bot in C, that doesn't imply a C guru knows everything about bots.

If someone physically rips your router out of your wall, not only would I thank them, but I can use it as an example for this:
You would no longer have internet. Now, if I do that across the globe, I've simplified it - that's hacking. Hacking isn't gaining knowledge, do you even know what you're writing a tutorial on?

Find ten 'hackers' right now, and ask them what's vital, CMD, or terminal. It's like asking this: What's vital, a dictionary to the language you seek, or a dictionary to a language in which you do not. Sure you can hack on Windows, easy - but do you really want to?

Do you understand the difference?

Speed isn't important, learning isn't a race. You learn as fast as you can, which in your case obviously isn't too quick - you choose to write awfully written tutorials over learning something productive. Read what I said, jesus.s

That's called sarcasm, not sure how you missed that....

RATing is hacking - you're a moron. Introduction to one of what, 'types of hacking'? Jesus...

Do you think writing biased information and mis-guiding new members is beneficial to their learning? I've taught you around fifteen things, you've just taught me a synonym of ignorant.

Some of the most accomplished people in the world are then 'skids'. Why avoid them, it's simplicity. If I don't want to waste weeks learning all about DDoS when I just need a site down for a few minutes, why the hell not be a 'skid' for a few minutes? It's retarded not to be, I don't care to waste time on learning something I wont need.

I'll take your 'ignorant' response as a thank you, though I expect a +3 I'll still get a kick off of your poorly written response.

Hope i helped 🤝
Yes, we're all ignorant, though some of us act on it, some of us don't. You're one of the ones who acts on it. And I can take criticism just fine, though you came here and insulted me and my tutorial, so I'm not exactly inclined to listen to you, especially when you're so ignorant and annoying. And yes, I realize that. Though learning a language not only helps users understand a program, but allows them to code their own. Notice how I said learn the basics of them? That is because it not only helps users understand how a program works, but it also helps them get interested in programming which is never a bad thing.

Oh yes, more ignorance showing. Now someone ripping a router out of my wall would not be hacking. That would be considered vandalism my friend.

Now I am not going to spend time talking to 'hackers', because I am surrounded by them in Legion. Apparently you know nothing of the group. Quite honestly, you don't deserve to be in it in my opinion. And if I didn't know what I was writing a tutorial on, Acroz wouldn't have approved it.

Now I said CMD because of how many users use Windows. Knowing some CMD commands is generally helpful knowledge.

And now you're just saying BS. What does speed have to do with anything? You are so stupid. This is why you shouldn't be in Legion. I even said to take your time learning, and to not take any shortcuts.

Take a look at your signature. So far, you haven't followed it.

And you're a moron. Look. RATting is not hacking. Again, you really shouldn't be in Legion. RATing can be used to help with hacking, though RATting itself is not hacking.

And look, idiot. You are complete and utter scum. My guide has no issues in it, and someone who's too idiotic to follow their own signature shouldn't be in a group like Legion, or judging my thread. You are complete trash.

And wtf would you be a skid when you could learn how things work? Not only will one be able to hack better in the long run, but one will not turn out like you!

Again, idiot scum like you are what has brought Legion's reputation down over the years.

Piss off, and again, you don't deserve to be a member of Legion.
I feel that the title of the thread should be changed. It's very misleading.
This is just getting ridiculous, OP please close your thread.

Wouldn't say it's misleading, though I see your point of view, and I have changed it. Or at least, I've added something.

Looks much better now. I see you've put effort into the thread 🤝

Not sure if trying to be smart or funny... though thanks? 🤝

And now, you've been removed from Legion.

Please... At first I appreciated your thread but now you're just being an idiot.

Your thread title was "How to become a skilled Hacker." However, all your thread really stated was that you shouldn't start with RATs, and that you should learn a programming language. That's it. You honestly deserve to recieve feedback accordingly, and if you can't take it, you should probably update your thread (not your thread title!) and not start fighting against other members.

That's my input as an "outsider". I don't even know if that guy was a part of Legion before, as I don't know him, but I honestly think you should give him the membership back, as all of his critisism is correct, and only correct.

EDIT: If I understand "Legion" correctly, you are people that want to teach. If a person say you're not teaching correctly, he's only helping out the whole group.
