Mentor Group

I like the idea. I think it would really help HF go on to a better track. There are lot's of good suggestions that never get taken into consideration.

Every suggestions is considered. All of them. Appears you won't be a mentor.
This would be a sick thing really. Requirements like
1000 posts
60+ rep
no warning points
no -rep
Or something similar to what I wrote.

When will the mentors be decided?
Great idea. I'd love to apply!

This is an idea I conceived 15 minutes ago. If implemented it would take me time. Weeks perhaps.
I actually really like this idea. I especially think having users pass some sort of test before becoming eligible is a wonderful idea. I hope to one day become a member of this group.

Great Idea! I hope to see it implemented soon..

Not exactly what I was trying to say. I meant something else. Just didn't choose the right words. I also never said I would apply. IMO this should be the job for members that have been here a very long time and have really good ideas on making the HF community better.
I personally love the idea. This way users could feel free to PM a mentor with just a general HF questions. Then people would start only PM'ing Staff with high priority issues.
I personally would love to join this.
:D

Sounds like a great idea!

Is that so hard to make another usergroup and a bunch of requirements?

It could be.
I personally like this idea.

It would be great way to see which members could have great potential not only to support the staff but also so that when MyBB 2.0 comes out and you begin appointing moderator's to different sections you'll have some choices. Furthermore, it would be a great way to regulate the rules and bad posting. I understand that this will take weeks to implement if you choose to do so, but I'm behind it 100%.

We may also need to add a seperate section in the forum for them. Also, I think the test should be written by you and the staff members, and a member must qualify to take the test first.

Requirements can be:
-1000+ Posts
-Contributing Threads
-UB3R
-No Legit Scam Reports
-Never been banned (?)
-0% Warning

As for Rep I think it shouldn't be taken into account unless its for the following:
Scams(Legit), Flaming, Trolling... ?

Also perhaps we should have nominations as well. Maybe...

Accepting Members

I think you should make it so that you or a staff member has to manually approve each member after they pass the test.

P.S.
I love the UserBar: Spoiler (Click to View)

For anyone who wants the img tag for it: Spoiler (Click to View)

Of Course this is all still speculation as Omni hasn't even decided on whether or not he's going to do this so...

This is great but how will they apply for this test will you test them individually?
Maybe for Omniscient It would take some time because he is Busy.
