I wanted to share a program to HF but the only thing i worry about is people try to decode the program for the APIs etc.
Does anyone know how to prevent this?
Thanks.

Don't share it, otherwise make all the functionality (including API's) be hosted on a server, not in the actual program.

As hypothesis, no program can't be cracked. Even Microsoft ( who created windows ) has its windows cracked.
So the only solution is to make all sensitive values on server side.
As specified, if someone tries enough they will eventually get it. But to protect it from people who only knows how to open your assembly in a decompiler, you can obfuscate your program. This will scramble different things of your code to random strings making it very hard to make out what it says.

Well, these days, even people who only know how to open an assembly in a decompiler knows what a deobfuscator is... If you want to get some protection from these guys, you can modify a open-source obfuscator cough confuser cough |
