Hello Nexus my old friend.

What is League of Legends?
League of Legends is a fast-paced, competitive online game that blends the speed and intensity of an RTS with RPG elements. Two teams of powerful champions, each with a unique design and playstyle, battle head-to-head across multiple battlefields and game modes. With an ever-expanding roster of champions, frequent updates and a thriving tournament scene, League of Legends offers endless replayability for players of every skill level.

Well, goodluck Nexus! Hope this group gets far!

[Ventures]

Not sure if I'm understanding; is this application for being accepted to buy-in or is this for applying now and then reviewed at a later date?

If the latter, here's my application:

Lolking:

• Phyze

Age:

• I'm in college (older than 18). I hope that's enough for my age.

Gender:

• Male

Time spent playing League:

• Since S1. I have skins/icons only available from that time to prove it. According to WastedOnLol, I've "wasted" 1008 hours (42 days).

Do you engage is e-sports related activities(LCS)?

• Yep, I'm participating in a tournament run in my home district at the moment, and I also watch LCS. I'm active in e-sports casting as well, having guest-star casted in a few local Riot-sponsored tournaments. I love to compete, and I'd be happy to join any competition in Nexus's future.

What can you offer to Nexus:

• As an avid player, I can contribute a lot of in-game knowledge, ranging from game theory to mechanics to getting out of this so-called "elo hell" (which really doesn't exist). Personally, after being stuck at 700 elo in S2 and Silver 4 in S3, I know all about ranking. In the last two weeks of S3, I went from Silver 4 to Gold 3. Since then, I've been rising.

• I can also offer something supremely powerful: friendship. The power of friendship extends far beyond any supernatural force harbored on this planet. I will bring that to the members of Nexus.

• Activity - I'll definitely be active in a LoL group. I'll be happy to set up tournaments, get in contact with Riot for sponsorships, and fix up schedules for events. I do love posting on topics I think I can contribute in, and I'm sure after three years of LoL, I can post a few things :)

500 words about yourself:

• There are a bunch of resume words I could use like "determined", "passionate", "communicative", or "ambitious." But in reality, those are just... "steroids." Who am I really? I'm a guy who genuinely enjoys playing League of Legends with other people. In fact, I rarely solo-queue unless it's for ranked. It's the reason why I don't ranked too often, but I always find myself derping around with my friends and just having a great time overall. I'm easy to talk to, I never get angry over games or insults, and I always keep a cool head when dealing with sensitive individuals. I know there's diversity in the world, and I make sure to always respect everyone. I'm a fun-loving guy. I can be your best-buddy or I can be your butt-buddy. I will sacrifice my League life just to get you out of a four-man gank, I will throw down my Gangplank ult so you can escape with a sliver of health, I will tank Baron for you as an ADC because you're scared of dying if the enemy team counters us. And I'll probably KS you when I can because it's fun to do so.

What are your expectations of HF in general?:

• HF? I expect HF to be the same as it has been since I've joined. I expect there to be skids, 12 year olds, and marketers who make $4,000 a day alike. I expect there to be programmers, developers, and logic-thinkers. I expect there to be retards, genuises, and average joes. But most of all, I expect there to be a community I can fit in due to the diversity here.

• The HF members? Not much. I haven't met a lot of members who really impress me with anything. Yeah, there are a few guys I can really look up to and wish I could be like them, but for the most part I probably don't really expect a lot of out anyone here. If you can speak English, good for you.

Are you willing to join us in our local TeamSpeak?

• Of course.

[Hexicidal]

Not sure if I'm understanding; is this application for being accepted to buy-in or is this for applying now and then reviewed at a later date?

If you buy in, I add you 5 minutes after I get the transaction payment.

Applications for this recruitment will probably be read in a month or so.

You could do either or.

If you wish to buy-in, I do not request any application.

[scam.]

So is this recruitment dependant on skill or can people of any level get accepted?

Why I want to join Nexus:
I want to join Nexus because I love gaming and especially leauge of legends, I have around 2000 matches played and have probably pumped $500+ into the game. I really want to find a good group of guys to play with. I joined respawn with these intentions but after remaining in the group for a few weeks, nothing had happened. I'd love to particpate in gaming nights and play Leauge with other Nexus Members, I have yet to find anyone who is fanatic about Leauge as me!!! (Although i sure hope I find some!) I'd also like to join so that I can contribute through giveaway's and guides and maybe pick up some tips for myself! Since hackforums has some excellent Leauge players I hope that we can have some really fun times together! I have already met some amazing HQ members but I would really like to meet even more people who enjoy leauge as much as me :)

---

My Experience With Gaming:
Well I've been gaming since the N64 and Gameboy Color I've owned pretty much every console and gaming device to ever come out since I got interested as a child. However i soon would find that my love was strong for PC gaming and in 2010 I discovered that I truly loved leauge of Legends. I still play other games like World of Warcraft, Planetside2 and other PC games but spend most of my waking hours playing leauge. All of my friends are hooked as well and we usually queue up for Ranked 5's or Duo Queue. (They still cant keep up with my sheer fanaticism :) )

---

What I can contribute to the group:
So even though I am currently only Silver II I believe that through dedication I could make some real contriubtions to Nexus. I am currently writing a large jungling guide and could use some input from Nexus members to help me out. I plan to release a guide for each role and hopefully under the Nexus name. Perhaps with all of the excellent and positive input that I get, the guides could one day become stickied! Another way that i think i could contribute is through donations giveaways! I run a Homework service here on Hackforums and would be glad to do some RP giveaways or skin giveaways in the name of the group!
Sample guide I wrote a while back that wasnt too detailed, I hope to make more like this but in a much higher quality! : https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=4049037

About Me:

I am a 11th grade honors student currently living in Hawaii. I play on my school's varsity tennis team and am part of the National Honors society. When I'm not on the court or doing school work I'm usually on Teamspeak or Skype with my friends playing some Leauge of Legends. Its been my total addiction for the past 4 years and I cant think of any other game I'd rather be playing. I'm open minded and try to take constructive criticism as well as I can to improve myself in school, tennis and leauge! I'm typically a cheery guy and try to bring a positive atmosphere wherever i go. I really look foward to joining in with some good guys that actually want to do some gaming! I though respawn was really for me but just like everyone else that left, i just felt no gaming was really happening :P

---

Skills I bring to the Table

-Leadership: I am treasurer of my school's chapter of the National Honors Society and Parlimentarian for our Skills USA chapter. Both involve a relative variety of leadership opportunities and responsibilites that I hope will serve me well here

-Responsibility: From being a good and tryhard student (XD) in general i have developed a self proclaimed decent sense of responsiblity, I will complete the requirements to remain in the group well before the dates that they are due and do so with the utmost quality

-Trustworthiness: After being entrusted with power through these leadership opportunites and carrying out plenty of deals on HF I have gained a sense of trustworthiness and will never deal wrongly upon another member. I'll middleman or perform any services needed for my fellow members!

-Gaming: I'm a relatively good gamer and play other games besides leauge. Hopefully I can teach a few othermembers some things, and pick up some things for myself! I can also just provide a buddy to play with in a wide variety of games (Not only leauge) and would love to play a wide variety of games, not only leauge, with Nexus Members, I'm always looking for chill people to play with and this just looks like the perfect place to do it!

-Intelligence: I'm not trying to brag or pass myself off as too smart here but I'm a pretty decent student in school and would be willing to do some free work of my Homework service for members, help them edit guides or whatever kind of things they need!

-Outgoing: As a member of Nexus, I will try my absolute hardest to be outgoing and provide a positive atmosphere to everyone in the group and do my best to contribute to the overall quality of the group wether it be by giveaways, guides or even just talking with members :)

-Passionate: As In anything, I try to put all of my effort towards particpating. I am incredibly passionate about leauge of legends and would love to participate in game nights, team games, or any kind of Leauge of Legends related activity!

-Coding Knowledge: Well I'm a bit of a noob in this area but I know some basic Batch and a little bit of Java, I could do some basic things if needed. I'll also add that I'm currently studying for my CCNA certification and would be willing to help others enrolled in the course for free!

-Recruiting: Although I am still once again only Silver II I think that I am a decently good judge of character and would love to help interview members that you are considering allowing membership. It could even play against/with some of the prospective members or those who want to become teachers ect to see if they are truly at the elo that they claim!

---

Whats going on in my life:

So Although I am currently in 11th grade I have quite a bit of clubs and activities that I need to make sure I attend, I also need to keep my above 4.0 GPA up if I hope to get into the college of my dreams (Cal Tech or MIT to study Nuclear/Civil Engineering). I will however no matter what make time for leauge and the Nexus family :) Gaming is an integral part of my life and without it I would not have met the friends that have motivated me to do what I currently do today. Most of all I would not have wandered onto HF (looking for game cheats XD) And found what a wonderful (Most of the time) family we got going here! My love for leauge and this site are going to be staying here for quite a long time!

So I've been playing Leauge since Season 1, (End of it though). I've been unranked in season 1 since I was leveling to 30. In season II I was Bronze V (I know right :) ) and Gold V in Season III. In terms of Season 4 I'm trying to climb out of Silver II. I follow all of the major LCS Teams as well as a bit of OGN. I really love watching all the streamers (Mostly TSM) and learn quite a bit from them!

My Expectations for HF

Well I'll be honest, I came to HackForums looking for Game Cheats and Garrysmod Gamemodes, I went inactive for a year, then came back and really got into the whole forum mojo. I bought Leet and been loving it up ever since. I got more into the gaming and Buissiness aspect of Hackforums though and currently run a successful homework service. Most of my posts have been in the Leauge of Legends section, I just enjoy giving people advice, making posts, or just having fun with fellow leauge players! After I hit about 50 rep and 300 posts I applied for Ub3r and much to my delight I was accepted! This just spurred me to do even more transactions and make larger contributions to the community! I hope that by joining Nexus my contributions to the Hackforums community will once again spike as I collaborate with fellow members to produce some HQ guides and giveaways!

Closing

So as a last comment I'd just like to express how much I'd like to join Nexus, I've put quite a bit of time and effort into this app and will continue editing it as I think of new things to add, I'd like to contriubte to a REAL group on HF that actually has a solid leader and solid membership base, The only official group I've been in was respawn and as I say earlier in this app, the expereince did not really work out for me. I'd like to put some real effort into being a contributing member of Nexus, guides, gaming, or whatever really! I'd love the experience of being with a tight knit bunch of players who share the same interests as me! I'd like to help make Nexus something great, even if my impact isn't as drastic as donating 100's of dollars like Skiltz can :) I'll sure try my damn hardest to do as much as I can! Thanks for taking the time to read my incredibly long application (A whopping 1700 words!) !

I like to play a lot of games and i have been playing games since i was 6 years old which is a long time and i am a social player which means i like to play for fun most of the time.
