It's a large group. I don't see nothing wrong with it.
"Reasonable Amount" of threads per group in Group and Crew General Discussions |

I mean, why not just have one recruitment thread for each polatform instead of each game on each platform. Catergories can be explained INSIDE the thread. That being said, a single thread should suffice. [Instinct Recruitment Multi-Platform Wide Range of Games. Apply Here] Resident Writer for MyGamer.Com and Horrify.Net
Like I said in my previous post, what exactly are you suggesting from this thread, Yellows? I've also messaged Omniscient to verify the rules just for you. He's busy enough as it is with OMC so this is just a waste of his time but oh well some people can't help themselves from mini-modding.

My suggestion: to dissuade groups from flooding that section however Omni sees fit -- should he see fit. I am not attempting to mini-mod. I don't think PMing Omni about something so petty is the best idea, but whatever floats your boat.

Then why would you say this if you don't want Omniscient to see it? I mean he's going to see it eventually. (May 14, 2014 10:23 PM)Farmer Yellows Wrote: Eh, who knows. I'll just leave this open. Perhaps Omni doesn't frequent the Group and Crew General Discussions section and this may be the easiest way for him to see what's going on and perhaps take action if he see fit. Staff didn't say anything about it to me so you want Omniscient to see it. He'll see it shortly and we'll get an answer from him, I'll do as he says. I said that because it's fairly common knowledge that PMing Omni about a suggestion thread isn't going to usually end up too well. He doesn't like when that happens. I do want him to see it, but not necessarily by you, or anyone else, PMing him linking it (just assuming that's what you did, idk). Anyway, thanks to the staff member who removed all those unneeded flaming posts. It's better that way, as it doesn't crowd out other groups' recruitments from the front page. It might be trickier to manage for the Instinct guys who are running it, but they could always use an off-site method of applying (like Google Docs) to host all of these different game application threads, and then just have one 'mothership' thread that links to the Google Docs. How would that work? 😧 They're all different consoles + PC. Each person hosting the recruitment is going to be practically playing with the people whom posted, you can't exactly have 10-20 different recruitments out on one thread now can you? And another thing, we don't really want to use anything off-site since this is for a paid group so we're using the section that is there for recruitment, I don't see anything wrong with this. It's not spamming either, some people don't understand the definition of spamming nor LQ if anything the recruitment threads are all in good quality with the layout provided and what not. He's not some rabid person wanting to just attack members. But let me show you something pretty funny which is exact same as this, someone posted it but the post was deleted. Should I go and make a thread about these threads being posted in the correct section? 😧
The news section is different then the recruitment section plus all those threads are by the same person (Sir), not 10 different people with 10 different threads for 10 different games for the same 1 group. They could of gone in 1 game recruitment thread separated by the type of game or console they are played on. That is my opinion.

Those threads are all posted in the correct section and our threads are posted in the correct section which is the recruitment section for groups. And like I said above, how do you post 10-20 recruitments for different consoles and a computer related recruitment into one thread? 😧 Show me an example please. Did you even think that through or was it for the hell of it? Do you understand how much of a time was that would be, going through a thread that has Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4, Steam, MineCraft and other games recruitment and then singling them out one by one? ❓ (May 15, 2014 09:13 AM)Tɦɛ Gʀiɱ Wrote: Nice thread mate, I feel the same way you does.Sadly I don't feel the same way you does. |
