I've seen this suggested before but I'm going to re-suggest it anyway.
Some of you that don't regularly visit the cryptography section probably think that this suggestion is silly and a waste of time simply because 'crypters = cryptography.... duhh'. However I disagree with this as crypters are more about coding than the actual cryptography evolved. Secondly, they're used as a hacking tool and there is an appropriate section for this. There are a few different types of crypter threads and none of them have anything to do with cryptography
-> Crypter downloads (Hacking tool downloads)
-> Free crypting services (Free services and giveaways)
-> "What's the best crypter for my rat"
-> How to re-fud my crypter (this is more coding than cryptography)
-> People begging for free crypts
-> "Is this crypter FUD"
-> "What's the best free FUD crypter"
-> "What crypter works with ..."
Come to think of it, I have not seen one thread asking how crypters actually relate to cryptography and how files are encrypted to hide their real intentions from anti virus programs.
My suggestion would be to create another section where all of this crap can be posted as the cryptography section at the moment is so low quality it's sad. Cryptography is great to learn and I'd be happy to make tutorials and threads but they simply just get to the third page in a day due to all of the shitty crypter threads in that section.
I would love to hear everyone else's opinion on the matter.
