The Abuse of Sections

I'm not saying the people who monitor sections aren't doing there job, because reported posts are getting taken care of! But there are MANY sections that are being miss used. I'll give you a prime example:

Cryptography, Encryption, and Decryption

This section is Cryptography, Encryption, & Decryption

90% of the threads posted there are simply crypter threads for RATS. Isn't there already another section for this? I get some threads are paid stickies, but for the other threads, it really ruins it and kills off a useful section. Not a lot of people here actually understand how true cryptography works..

That's just my 2 cents, let me know what you guys think.
Those are free crypters, it's Encryption.

It's more like spam, the term "free" automatically should associate something like that in the giveaway section or rat section.. Just like hacking is considered computer related, but mostly not allowed on hackforums. And yes as it may be considered encrypting, there's a time and place for everything, and being technical only ruins a great section on a computing forum website.

The RAT section is for RATS! not crypters.

Just stop.
I saw his original thread and I have to agree. Any kind of HQ Thread about Hashing etc... is just buried down by free crypters. They should have their own sub forum at least to give people who actually know a thing or two to post some good HQ threads and get views on them
Okay, one last agrument.. The main section is called "advanced hacking" in what possible way is giving out free crypts considered "advanced hacking".. If it was coding your own crypter, that'd be a whole different story, but enlighten me please?
If they're posting a tool that's associated with cryptography, then it's fine.

It's all personal opinion on what's deemed advanced or not.
The RAT section is for RATs. It's as simple as that. If the core of the thread is about encryption then where do you think it belongs?
Although Crypter related threads are in relation with cryptography, they SWORM the whole section!

They Deserve their own sub-section within Cryptography!

This will be a win win for everyone!

Threads will be organized and a better forum will be formed!

I hope & support for the Crypters to have their own sub-section within the Cryptography section!

If this is ignored then crypter threads will continue to just overrun the threads that a truly about the subject!

I sincerly ask for your consideration!

Thank you! :]

Yes I agree completely! I mean there can always be meets, halfway. But the whole section is swarmed with the same thing.. And why is it that I get neg'ed by an uber for stating my own opinion. If you disagree, "communicate" it out, and be an enlightened individual.. I'll gladly admit if i'm wrong.
I agree putting free crypters and what not in its own special sub-section would be the best solution to keeping what could widely be considered spam out of that section.
wow
that's offensive

Just a fair warning, do not even complain about reputation in the slightest. It will only result in lots more.

I'll be completely honest with you, the cryptography section is being used the way it was supposed to be. This suggestion will never happen.

It deserves to have it's own sub-section within the cryptography section.
This way, it is in the cryptography section, but separate from the content that is more related to cryptography.

The section would consist of more Cryptography tutorials, Code breaking challenges, cryptography help, and code making and much more!
But all of this is suppressed & almost dead with the constant overflow of the crypter threads.

The thing is, this will never happen. The cryptography section is being used the way it should be. It will not change.

Well first off, i'll definitely take your rep advice to heart, thanks xD

but most importantly, it's being used "the way it should be" who defines how it should be set? If we asked omni right now, what his intentions were when opening up that section, do you think he would of told you that? And i mean honestly, don't "we" as users make the decision of how the outcome goes? I don't see the point in dismissing it because it's how it should be. But you have your own views, and trust me, i get that. But do you get my views?
