When reviewing, as someone who has given one 10 in my whole life, 10 has to represent perfection, or as close to perfection as humanly possible. If there are no faults in a manga or show, it deserves a 10. More often than not, that wont happen, so you have to see if the positives outweigh the negatives to such an extent to where it appears they dont even exist, thats the other way to get a 10 in my book. But what it all comes down to is opinion and perception. Saying the manga doesnt deserve a 10 is merely your opinion and perception of the manga and his is that it does. Take note that it is the "Vandie" seal of approval and last week he labels it as "Vandie's rating".

I'm fully aware, and I thought I had made that quite obvious. It was not my intention to belittle his opinion, but we are both able to evaluate from a critical perspective, and just because his perfect score is subjective doesn't mean it can't spawn a discussion. A 10 is a 10, after all.

Personally, I wouldn't have given Citrus a perfect score. It's a good yuri manga, but not the best by far. The story is cliche and predictable, and the characters for the most part are shallow and unoriginal; I only really liked the main character. But that's my assessment on it.

Im just adding my opinion on a criteria of what makes a 10. You say the show in your opinion doesnt deserve a 10 because you stress the faults, more or less, but maybe he gave it a 10 based on the second criteria I listed on what a 10 makes. I didnt mean to offend you. Just adding that.

Well thanks for the opinion guys, I like that people are discussing the score as the only way I'm going to get better at reviewing things (in a way most agree with) is to hear your opinions. but in fairness to my self That 10/10 was a rare occurrence for me to award, as explained in my after note...

I found very few problems and those that I did find were almost insignificant in my opinion (key word there) so yes you could say that.

@Tails idk, I hand out 10s quite a bit. I have a whopping 12 10s out of 355 entries (which is roughly 3.3%)
