Only took me 40 minutes. ✌ I'll update the OP with some stuff in a second. I have screenshots to add.
Will take me 8 hours ... 😭

Fox will update the OP with the information you posted and blablabla. This way we'll have a mega-informational thread, like when the Nexus 5 came out.

My era of providing technical support and malware removal on HackForums is over, so you can stop PM'ing me about it. Sorry.

Wrong thread.....
Mentally to post on mine but thanks for updating. Going to make a video of everything I've found in the morning
Can somebody verify if windows snapping is working or not? It's not working for me. I'm going to download another copy tonight and install another VM for it to test it. Maybe my problem with it was that it was in a VM and its a preview edition...
I am very curious to see how Server 2012 handles roaming profiles with Windows 10. I have encountered some weird issues in the past with between 7 and 8 with 2012..
Pretty interesting that they skipped a version and went straight to 10. I guess they're tryin to get up to speed with the changes and try recover from Windows 8. Because Windows 8 was most anticipated yet such a let down.
Going to install the preview and see how it goes.

Going to install the preview and see how it goes. Not much has changed sir..
Honestly, the metro screen and start menu wasn't that big of a deal for me. I have more pressing issues with Windows than a fucking start screen. If you work in IT for a living, you'll know what I'm talking about.
A'ight guys. I've downloaded it, and made a video installing it on a VM.

Linux operating system masterace right here :)
Downloading it right now and will install on a VM. Will post a review later tonight of any changes I notice.
I'm kind of tired of people dismissing criticisms of 8. They automatically jump to a conclusion that if you don't like 8, its because you are incompetent. In some cases incompetence is relevant, but in a lot of cases, its because the OS has some major improvements that need to be made. Hopefully 10 is a significant improvement.
For those struggling to install on Virtual Box, get the latest version and set the appropriate bit-architecture as Windows 8.1 when setting up.

They skipped 9 because they didn't want it to interfere with the other nines like win 98 and whatnot so they went right to 10 so support will be easier

Here's some evidence to support that statement:
Quote:Microsoft dev here, the internal rumours are that early testing revealed just how many third party products that had code of the form
if(version.StartsWith("Windows 9"))
{ /* 95 and 98 */
} else {
and that this was the pragmatic solution to avoid that.

Thanks for the support! Much love <3 haha although I don't think go ogling windows 9 help would show up with windows 98 help lol
I think they just wanted to skip nine because ten is a nice even well rounded number. It's a new era for windows which is what they really want to push to generate more sales.
