Synopsis
"Shirou Emiya lost his parents in a fire when he was young and was later adopted by a sorceror by the name of Kiritsugu Emiya. Although he was full of admiration for his adopted father and yearns to become an ally of justice, Shirou has limited powers and was unable to become a strong sorceror like his father. That is until one fateful day, he was drawn into the Holy Grail War and had to summon a female "Servant" known as Saber in order to protect himself. It turns out that the Holy Grail War involves a series of battles among powerful sorcerors to fight for the possession of a relic that will grant one's wishes, the Holy Grail. There are altogether seven "Masters" who can summon their respective "Servants" from different classes known as Saber, Archer, Rider, Berserker, Lancer, Caster and Assasin. These "Servants" have to hide their names in order not to reveal their weaknesses to the enemies. The story revolves around Shirou and his entanglement in the Holy Grail War. (Source: ANN)"

Should you watch?
Yes.

Why won't you shut up about this show, Gladly?
I'm a big Type Moon fan, a big studio Ufotable fan, and a big Fate series fan. When you mix all three, I'm bound to get pretty hyped. This is the franchise's chance to fix their previous Fate/Stay Night adaptation, and make people more openly able to recommend Fate/Stay Night before watching Fate/Zero. Before, many have said "don't bother watching F/SN, and hopefully, that will no longer be the case (if this turns out to be shit, oh boy). If you have no idea what I'm talking about, then good, you're not a total weaboo.

Where can I watch this?
The only place you can (legally) stream it is on Crunchyroll, by clicking here. I'll let you guys find your own ways of watching it.

Edit: also watchable on Hulu, thanks Dragon for the info (I'll ads a link later).

Disclaimer
I really hope this remake won't be shit.

Feel free to discuss your opinions on the show as it airs; and seriously, use spoiler tags.

So, would I need to finish F/SN first to watch this or no? If I do, I'll end up watching the show later on.

Type Moon created the Fate series (except F/Z), Ufotable just animated F/Z. You're right though, they really are an amazing combo. 👍

OP: You can also view it on Hulu. It will be available for streaming on both sites the same day the series premieres in Japan.
