(tutorial) How To Hack Phones With Bluetooth Using Backtrack (BT5/Kali Linux)

i am getting error when i put thi command
root@kali:/opt/bluesnarfer# make
make: Nothing to be done for `all'.
When I try to scan it says the device does not exist. I scanned for devices and it finds none. My bluetooth is enabled. Anyone who can help PM me please. Thanks
Anyone got this to work yet? Curious if it works on iPhones.

It's already installed in Kali... 🤦‍♂ OP didn't mention that...
Just enter:
Code
bluesnarfer
to see options.

Another thing OP didn't mention is, your PC needs to have bluetooth enabled or you need to get a bluetooth USB dongle for this to work. Maybe, I misunderstood you.

I tested this a long time ago, even before this was posted on an iPhone with success.

Are you sure your PC is capable of bluetooth or you have a bluetooth USB dongle ?

it returns "scan: too many arguments (maximal: 0)" why?

i hope it doesnt matter because im using USB bluetooth device...
(its successfully connected to backtrack)
I think its because you haven't configured your bluetooth, or there is no bluetooth, the same happens to me and after some research i found out my vmware doesn't include the option for built in bluetooth, so you might be in the same case as me. Solution is to buy a external bluetooth device, probs
