So I purchase a 5.5k Retina Imac. Canadian taxes suck, I know.
How does it compare performance wise? What can I do?
Here is a picture of the specs

That's pretty cool, always wanted an iMac but I don't have space for one on my desk.
Not sure what you're gonna do with 32 GB of RAM though, are you into rendering and shit?
edit: ayyy lmao shit post
lel
Ye I got it, but I haven't opened it yet. Its sitting in my room. Cant open it as of right now.
And no I'm not in to rendering.
Hey man don't you know the ABSOLUTELY UNARGUABLY EPIC of a pc you COULD'VE BUILT for $5.5k?

Explain to me the absolutely unarguably epic pc I could have built?

You've thrown atleast $2000 into just the Mac/Apple logo and name and the Mac oS. Like, lookup those parts and the actual hardware in your computer? How much is it actually? You could have built your own computer where your not paying stupid money just for the Apple logo and got double the spec for your buck.
Hey, that's just my 2 cents but if you like Apple then enjoy it :P

Welp, he most likely wanted the Mac OS working right out of the box with support, and had the money to pay for it. Dropping 5 and a half grand on a computer seems insane to me unless it is your profession though.

Its not my profession no. I just always wanted an iMac and was waiting for the refresh.

I am retarded why? You just posted a build?

Which heavily outperforms the Mac. Still don't really understand why anyone would get a Mac.

Did you even read the build?
Do you even know how to read?
The build I posted has a much stronger processor, crossfired (two) graphics cards that are twice as strong as the one you have in your iMac, better RAM and the price includes the cost of a 4K monitor on top of all that.
Not to mention any games you try and run on the imac will probably be shit since you're running it on a single GPU. There's no way it'll run at 5k resolution

It's actually quad crossfire because each graphics card has 2 GPUs
