Taibhse is better, but if you dont want to use command line, use mine. They are jar files you can look at the source code to make sure they are clean. If anyone reading this can read java they could you vouch for these files being clean. But yea it's not a good idea to run software downloaded from this site. But I will promise you that my software is 100% clean. Is it just me or does this exploit work for webfonts only? My target seems to have the 'Webfont' tab missing :(
As for the ones which have the 'Webfont' tab, I tried the trick and managed to get the TTF file; But Windows told that its corrupted. I'm the creator of font thief, I recently noticed fontThief crashes when attempting to retrieve a font, I havent looked into this in a while so if anyone has any information on what changed on the site or how to adjust this method to work again, please pm me or reply to me here so I can update the program to work again, I'll also likely add a GUI to it aswell for those who dont like command line tools (by god, hackers don't like the command line?).
Nevermind, found the error, its just bad scripts on the site, same method works as always, what went wrong with my program is that htmlUnit tries to run the broken scripts which cause a crash, just had to add a line to tell it to ignore broken scripts. 
I'm on OSX, my text editor isn't working the same as all of yours seems to be. If someone can snag me this font I would be eternally grateful: https://www.myfonts.com/fonts/hubertjoch...ran/light/
