That or set your IP address to his ip and cause a conflict. Do this until he asks what might be wrong.. Then add the rat while your working on it.

i may have to do that, was really hoping to be able to do it without having access but this may have to do.

What kind of webcam is it? Can you access it over the network?

Yes, use a MITM attack like DNS spoofing if the hosts are connected via wifi.

If the devices run via ethernet, you could attack the router and gain access to the panel, from there you could effectively do the same as the above attack.
