I think they would appreciate it as far as rules concern. If the scammer has been banned, there is no problem whatsoever.

Regarding proven scammers that are still active on HF, that would be something to consult with the staff team.

It would be a matter of reflection on restorative justice vs tradicional criminal justice.

Restorative justice is an approach to justice that focuses on the needs of the victims and the offenders, as well as the involved community, instead of satisfying abstract legal principles or punishing the offender. Traditional criminal justice sentence a formulation of rehabilitation, which is offender-centric.

Since I am quite new to this forum this is something I would be willing to partake within, and share my experience and skills based around web-forensics, and identifying various people with numerous methods.

I'll be sending you guys a message with the recruitment process. It's not something big, and we'll actually need people for 3 different purposes:

- [2x] Credit Providers (Skype);

These (2) people will be responsible to fund activities with skype credits or premium.

- [5x] Document Tracing & Account Access (Dox);

These (5) people will be responsible for doxing and accessing accounts. They will hijack everything possible to hijack and harvest every bit of information, including relatives (preferably contacts). Questioning family members works 10 times better than harrassing the scammer itself. It's an incredibly success multiplier.

- [3x] Contacters (Callers);

These (3) people are the vocal part of the job. You'll have to be good with words, and obviously you can't sound or be a child with a child's voice. You need to contact the scammer and the family members. You need to be a fairly good social engineer.

It's a fairly simple concept and it would be no more than a 10-man team. We need people to fund with skype credits/premium, people who will help on doxing and hijacking accounts and people who will pass judgement (harrass) by causing distress to the scammer.

Just pick one when recruiting, and I'll test you accordingly.

I was scammed twice in the previous month and I guess I've learned my lesson - you gotta make people earn your trust.
Punishment of scamming is one thing but prevention is also important, don't have any ideas around that for now though.

The system on HF isn't trully efficient, it conditionally allows people to scam and go unpunished.

I think there should definitely be some sort of an escrow system, but then you have to trust the escrow.
Trying to think up something along the lines of a trustless automated escrow but I dont think it's possible for all trades.
