Perhaps if you want to increase the value of the remaining OMC you could destroy a million or so. You've already recognized that you'll never be able to sell all the supply that you have. Might as well make what you do have more valuable if you believe the supply to be too great.

Even if you bring more people into HF there is only a limited number of ways to spend OMC. Sure there are sellers seling products that accept OMC and 3pic but really majority of transactions are done via PayPal or BTC. There needs to be more demand to meet the supply on hand period. Originally it had no use for anything and just happened to be the "first" of its kind. Essentially, if we were able to get companies to accept OMC just like they did BTC, it could increase in value. 
As someone who supports and owns OMC I dont know what more I can do. I bought the award and 3p1c. I shop in the OMC section a few times and did a few exchanges. OMC needs something new and innovated to make it worth having.

I'd rather setup a faucet and give away a million OMC than blockhole them. Maybe you can help me do that once I've integrated the OMC addresses into profiles. Could be a nice connect where you verify your first address and get 1000 OMC from the faucet. Just an idea.

Having 1000 people register their OMC address would be a great start to the plugin. The only worry is that people would receive the coins and the immediately sell them. Not much to gain from them doing so and the amount of users it would positively effect would be worth the (very small) damage from those who just sell them. I know you had spoke of big things coming for OMC a long while back, not sure how that's going... People need a place to spend OMC giving out more isn't going to fix this issue but it will spread awareness, yes some of those new users will likely buy 3P1C but after that boom back to where it is now... Just my opinion.

IMO you just need to "force" its value, Hype it up. Maybe something such as a giveaway that you need to pay a certain amount of OMC to enter maybe for something good like a gaming computer? Sell 1/2 groups for omnicoin? Let users buy stickies with OMC but only on maybe 2 forums. Just gotta make people want to use it, If you told me I can buy a group with OMC I would start selling products to get that amount. Maybe give away a miner instead of a gaming pc? I would love to try to win a miner. Alot you can do Omni.

No matter what price you set it as, there's always people looking to make a profit and will sell below market value.

Just send them to an address like one of the many Bitcoin "black hole" addresses like 1BitcoinEaterAddressDontSendf59kuE. Make up a non-random address or whatever you feel like.
