With graphic design, I'm hoping you're not planning on doing heavy multitasking and using power hungry programs. Your processor isn't exactly very good in my opinion. It was have been better to get a process with an i5 or i7 to speed things up. Memory at 4gb is okay, just okay. You could definitely use more. But it all depends on how much of your computer's potential you will be using. For my uses, I do a lot of photo/video editing with gigantic files, and it eats up a ton of computer power.

For now, I wont do any heavy multitasking..just photoshop and illustrator.
Is it possible to upgrade the processor?
It's pretty decent. However, I suggest finding another laptop with at least an Intel Core i3 processor.

Processor is kinda bad and dell is kinda shitty but if you are using it for very basic stuff it will be fine
Yick, absolutely nasty. You should have just built a computer.
Its not that bad, But I suggest returning it and getting another Laptop that isn't made by Dell.
There Laptops are pretty shitty I have always had problems with them, I would suggest getting a Acer 🤝

That doesn't make sense for using it at college though. You can't exactly lug a desktop to every class.
It's not the best ever, but it's also less than $400. It will work for MS word, Google Chrome, etc. it will still run other programs, just not insanely quickly.
Oh man, even worse than the laptop I have had for 2 years now.
It will run Word, Chrome, etc fine though. Don't expect to game or edit on it.

On blackfriday for $450 I got a really good Asus man.
I5 core processor
4 gb of ram (you can upgrade up to 12, though 8 is enough)
500 gb hard drive
Intel Graphics
I love my laptop so far, it's nice, light, sleek, good battery.. Maybe you could return yours and get an Asus.
