So our coins will migrate to the new version?

I guess you could say it like that, yes. It's the same coin, we're just changing some backend stuff to make it more safe and less annoying :)

Oh I see, so there's nothing that the users need to change right?

Not apart from downloading the new client.
You can get it here: https://github.com/Omnicoin-Project/Omni...g/v0.9.0.0

We're just waiting for Crypto to update the thread.
I have found a way to compile the new wallet on ubuntu (I use 14.10 64 bits)

Ok so make sure to have everything updated:
Code
apt-get update; apt-get upgrade

Install the qrcode library:
Code
apt-get install libqrencode-dev libqrencode3

Grab the official source code from Github:
Code
git clone https://github.com/Omnicoin-Project/Omnicoin.git

Go to the src/leveldb directory and:
Code
make libleveldb.a libmemenv.a

Return in the main Omnicoin directory and edit the file "omnicoin-qt.pro"
At line 15 you need to change RELEASE=1 to RELEASE=0
Save and exit then:
Code
qmake
make

Enjoy the new wallet :-)

Still here sometimes.
Hell yea, I'll be downloading this right now.

Hell no it doesn't work in my CentOS build environment, lol. Luckily I have 4 debian servers with backup daemons. Guess I'll be using those round-robin until I get it working again. Ideally I wouldn't be running CentOS but I really don't feel like setting up the pool anew.
Just implemented a custom countdown timer image. It's not live updating, but it updates every minute. Static image updating FTW :D

I think Abe should implement a temporary page just for the countdown. 🎉

Here ya go: http://omnicha.in/dgw

It even automatically refreshes every 60 seconds.

You're welcome ;)

Huzzah! Could it just be a separate page with the navigation bar at the top please? I'd like to check it when I'm wondering but still be able to access the other useful features of your website. 😝

Done. I hope you enjoy. I'm glad that my site has been of such a great use to you :)

I probably account for a fair bit of your traffic actually. 😏
Just updated to the new version.

Thanks for the info.
