Why should you care about your privacy? You have nothing to hide!

Well with the rise of the need for privacy and anonymity in today's world I have decided that it's time to encourage more user's and raise the awareness for privacy and anonymity.

And with that being said it comes down to the topic, 'Why should you care about your privacy'?

Everyone that is/will be reading this thread I want you to take a moment of your time to visit these sites:
BrowserSpy
Panopticlick

What thee sites will show you is your information (such as IP, fonts, browser plugins, cache enabled yes/no, etc.), but wait what does this even matter to me?

Well that is a really good question!

There are sites that sell your information to companies that build social profiles about yourself without you even knowing.

Along with this some of you may or may not even know this yet, there are even people who control your 'private' chats - phone records - and other things such as pictures and videos that you may want to keep private.

But wait, you have nothing to hide right?

Well anonymity isn't just for criminals or cyber terrorists. It is also for people who want to take a stand and protect themselves from having there private data looked at by people who they don't even know and having other data sold to companies so they can target you in such ways.

If this thread has encouraged you in any way to start caring about your privacy and anonymity please let me know by posting below!

Wow, and I thought incognito saved me :( (kidding)

So basically, there is no such thing as anonymity.

There is such thing as anonymity but you must learn how to protect yourself properly and stop using all closed source applications.
