Facebook Chat Extender [Desktop Only - Big Screens]

I have a 27" monitor that is just huge when it comes to Facebook. I have that tiny chat for this big screen and I got tired of it. I decided to start editing the CSS of FB and I've managed to increase the width and height of the chat.

With this came a few issues that do not affect me but may affect you. You can have open only 3-4 chats at once before it starts stacking chats on top of each other. I haven't figured out the fix for it yet and honestly I may not bother fixing it because it doesn't affect me.

Changes to Chat:
  • Wider & Taller

  • No border shadows

  • Somewhat flatter

  • Larger textbox

  • Messages go longer in width before causing a breakspace

Issues:
  • Small Screens will cut the chat off from the bottom up

  • More than 3-4 chats open at once will cause a stacking of chats

  • Adding friends pushes down the textbox(Doesn't affect anything, most likely won't fix it)

  • That's all I'm aware of, report any issues found with this

Feel free to adjust settings but if I push an update, it will overwrite your changes. You can remove the download and update URL but you will NOT receive any of my updates if you do. Up to you.

PS: I'm trying to change the layout of FB for large screens too and have the feed in two columns but I'm at a complete mindfuck with it. I'll ask for help and see if it's possible. Will make a thread if it ever does happen.

What is with the "lorem ipsum" stuff?

I see it everywhere.

Thanks for the share, I'll install it in my desktop.

And Lorem Ipsum is the common text used since like 300 years to test printings, and then programming I believe.

It's dummy/filler text. Designers, printing personal, and programmers/developers use it for testing or place it as a fill in for previews and examples.
