So the title says it all is there a way that i can use my hdmi port to output to 2 diffrent displays
or will i have to buy a usb3.0 to hdmi?

If you want extended displays (not duplicated), you need more than a single HDMI port. Only DisplayPort and Thunderbolt (technically still displayport) support multiple monitors off of one port.

Like webdev77 said you'll need multiple cords if you want an extended display. if you have an open vga port you could always get a vga to hdmi converter.
