I just recently signed up for ProtonMail and I got to say it's really cool.

For those of you who haven't heard of it, it's an e-mail service created a couple years ago at CERN(the nuclear research facility with the big particle accelerator.)

They encrypt your login as well as your mailbox. It's all done client-side and ProtonMail only stores encrypted credential, meaning password recovery isn't possible. But it also means your mailbox and passwords aren't subject to release upon a court order.

PM is hosted in the Swiss Alps at a military command center and e-mails can be set for self destruct. I recently sent an e-mail from PM to my Hotmail and I couldn't even pull an IP address from the message source. It's really cool.

Anyway, I know a lot of you guys are looking for anonymity and I thought I would toss this service out there. It is REALLY good.

I junked my original thread a while ago because I posted it in "beginners hacking". Seeing as this isn't related to hacking I was under the assumption I posted in the wrong section.

It isn't invite only. You just have to wait to be accepted since they get so many signup requests.
