Feedback

My feedback thread about Hackforums | ~2 Years on HF |

Feel like making a feedback thread about HF as I've got nothing else to do atm and thought about making one for a while.

I'm not inspiring this thread on any other feedback thread made in this section, so this might look a little different than other threads.
Also, English is not my first language but I'll do my best not to make grammatical mistakes. Don't expect this to be very long.

When I first joined Hackforums.
I registered under the alias "THEBOTNET" as during that time I played a game which suffered from a lot of downtime due to someone ddosing it with a botnet, or at least he claimed he did. Because of that my interest in ddosing grew and I ended up on Hackforums. I was such a skid, but then again pretty much everyone was at some point.

I didn't understand a thing about ratting or botnets, how to acquire slaves and what not so I decided to focus on something else which was ewhoring. It required no skill at all so that's more than likely why I ended up in there. I basically released shitty ewhoring packs in the section which had been posted a few times before.

Before I upgraded my account.
I only upgraded my account by the end of 2014 and I really noticed being a non-upgraded user had a lot of disadvantages. The main issue is people do not tend to help new users who don't have the money or who simply want to see what the forum is like before upgrading.

I do believe a lot of users do not upgrade just because SOME upgraded users think they have some sort of power which they abuse, just because their name has a blue or yellow color.

I actually stopped browsing the forums several times for months, just because I didn't enjoy it. It was as if no one listened to you when you weren't upgraded. Had enough of HF in November 2013 and so I quit for pretty much 1 year.

When I came back to Hackforums.
I decided to give Hackforums 1 more try so I came back in November 2014. I also upgraded my account, just because I wanted to see what it's like to be an upgraded user.
I really started to enjoy the forums way more because I was able to get involved with the community. It felt like people could hear me this time.

That's not a very positive statement though. I may like the forums now but then again there's so many new users on the forums who don't have a voice. They aren't heard and obviously some upgraded users like to "bully" them in a way. I feel like whenever I'm on the forum I see less and less new users enjoying the forums, staying active and also noticed a lot of the new users are multi's who get banned sooner or later anyway.

I also tend to stay away from groups as most groups revolve about making money for the owners. You either get in a group because you're friends with the owner or a high ranked member, or you buy yourself in the group. Groups also change owners too often and bring drama, especially when on Skype and what not.
There will always be "rotten apples" everywhere, that's something I am aware of. I just keep away from them as much as possible.

The Staff team
There's not too much to say about them from my point of view as I'm not really close to them. As far as I know they do a good job and whenever I ask any member a question they will give me a fairly quick reply. Obviously they cannot be online 24/7 but when they are online they do their jobs very well.

Conclusion
My time on Hackforums has had a few ups and downs, especially when I hadn't upgraded yet. Nowadays I enjoy the forums a lot more though and I'll more than likely stay active for a while. I'm not sure if I'll upgrade to ub3r because I don't really care about the ability of +3'ing that much, but hey you never know.
You'll probably see me a lot in the Private Investigation & Anonimity section of the forums as I'm quite interested in that subject and like to help out as many members as possible.
Well if no one else is going to say it, I guess I will. XD

Nice feedback. I love how it's not too bloated with information but you still make your point in an effective way.

Nice job.

Nice job.

I dislike having to read a huge wall of text which rattles on about the same subject and that's why I have chosen to keep it as short as I could. Action speaks louder than words.
Thanks man.
No shout outs, the first? Great feedback thread.

No sucking dicks in this thread indeed ;-;
Glad you liked my thread man.
I feel as if many people on HF have not taken any English classes, but I can't really say that to you since English is not your first. It's hard to see what is your personal story and what is actual feedback. You should break it down per paragraph/section. Good try though.
Ive saw a lot of these recently, but none the less its always good to see peoples views and experiences, and they always cease to interest me.

I'll more than likely add a few more sections later today.

Glad you liked the thread.
Just realised you joined a month after me! Good job OP, might have to make a thread to rival this with my 1 Month more knowledge! Nice feedback though.
Guys!
How to write messages here?
I can't write in the topics that are interesting for me.
And can write only here
why?

You should make one for sure.
Not too sure what else I can add.
