Since I wrote a crud load for other users on this forum, and I don't want my time to go to waste, I thought I would post this for everyone to see. It'll be 2 posts so this one and the one after as I can't fit it all on one post (more than max characters allowed).

16 year CS Vet; Past CAL-I, CEVO-P, ESEA-Premier; Currently GE (will not go into information about my past/give out my information so don't ask. If I PM you that's a diff story) - Let's get started, probs wont go too much into detail as I am hella tired:
SENSITIVITY
Let's start with the basic necessity of the game, sensitivity. To find your "perfect" sensitivity is more than a must as it determines whether your crosshair stays on the opponent or doesn't. Most of these guys just say "Hey, lower your sensitivity" which might not be the best for you as you might already be using a low sensitivity and missing which could mean that your "perfect" sens is actually a bit higher.
Anyways, here is a great video showcasing how to find this "perfect" sens and actually does work (it should take you about 30 - 45min): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uxBuiD11WDM
Do this every 2 days for a total of around 8 - 10 days and at the end you'll figure out the best sensitivity. By day 6 you shouldn't be changing it any as you should have found your best. Once you do this do, DO NOT CHANGE YOUR SENSITIVITY EVER. Most people believe that just because they missed a shot or two that their sensitivity is to blame and so they change it. Don't do the stupid mistake of doing so. Just keep practicing with your found perf sensitivity as it'll keep you the most consistent and that is what you need to be in CS.
AIM/RECOIL PRACTICE/MOVEMENT WHILE SHOOTING
To improve your aim you need to do more than just MM/DM. Play community maps like: Aim Botz and training_aim_csgo_fixed and actually do all game modes.
Play training_aim.. first and do all the modes it has for about 45 - 1 hour. After go to Aim Botz and start one clicking the bots with AK or something, once you got all them down with 1 clicks start going faster, and faster, and faster to the point where you are now flicking onto their heads. The more you do this the better your muscle memory will be which is what a lot of CS is. If you are missing the one clicks enable the bullet drawings or whatever it is called (forgot as I'm super tired lol). Look to see if the bullet is going through the head and onto the wall as this might happen due to the Source engine being pretty crap. Don't worry about this, just keep trying to 1 click.
Now once you have that done, enable the bots movement and go up higher and higher when you get the hang of the speeds. Just follow them with your crosshair as best as you can for about 5 min and then start trying to 1 click them while they are moving. This will help you when you are facing a guy who is ADADing all around the place just dodging your crosshair left and right. It'll help you to be able to stick to his head. (ScreaM even stated that this is what he does to perfect his aim.) Now, you need to learn how to ADAD while shooting/clicking/bursting at the enemy. Remember: When you move your bullets go all random most of the time, so don't move while shooting. Learn to strafe, stop, and then shoot/burst. ADAD is what they call strafing left to right and then shooting when you are stopped. Enable bullet drawings and bring up the barriers and get to it. Practice doing this in Aim Botz as well as in DM and MM.
Now, aim botz is a great map to practice your sprays as you can enable bullet impact drawings and see where they go. Watch a couple videos on youtube that state how to counter the recoil of guns and then go practice on aim botz. Just pop up the barriers and go for it. You won't master it in a few hours or days but you'll get better and better till it'll become second nature.
CROSSHAIR PLACEMENT
Best thing to perfect your crosshair placement is to create an offline game and just go through the maps learning how to peak around corners already looking at a certain spot. I can't tell you how important this is, especially learning to prefire spots that you know a player plays. You'll be able to practice this in DM/MM after you do it for an hour or two in an offline game. I still do this at least once a week just so I can make sure I am correctly placing my crosshair. Youtube has great guides on this if you'd like.
Also, make sure you are aiming at head level... Don't be that one guy who is aiming at the ground the entire game. Head or neck/chest level; these are the best places to be aiming at. If you don't have the aim to hit the head then aim at the neck/chest level as it is easier (and burst 3/4 bullets to try to get a headshot from the recoil).
Small tip: If you are standing behind a wall/box and waiting for someone, make sure only your left side is showing. Reason is due to the fact that you are a smaller target when you show your leftside than your right side. Some people might say bs but this has been proven and shown on so many pro streams, etc.
SMOKES/FLASHES/DECOYS
A massively crucial part of this game: SMOKES/FLASHES/DECOYS/MOLLIS/NADES. Can't tell you enough on how important these are and what they can do. A perfectly placed Smoke can give you site control, a perfect flash can give you the kill, a decoy can trick the enemy, a molli can damage and block/just block the enemy team, and a great nade can get you a kill or just do damage to the body (pretty self explanatory on that last one xD). Learning how to throw these in the right positions, how to throw a flash so it pops as soon as it gets around the corner, etc. can literally take you from Silver to LE; not joking. They are literally that important to taking/controlling a site, gaining a kill, blocking a team from going one way, or just damaging the opposing team (and yours if you throw it wrong ;)).
There are TONS of videos on how to do all smokes, flashes, mollis, nades, etc. Learn the smokes and flashes at the start as these are the most important and the go onto the rest by just practicing them in MM. Here are some video guides on smokes/flashes/nades:
Dust2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5rhAZBHrFhA
Mirage: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8kvkm02pFTs
Inferno: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H8v68CEu3PM

Nuke: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bkgkE-7mSEk
Overpass: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BgEl0kLZPYg
and the rest you can find from the same guy. Practice them in an offline game and just keep doing it till you perfect them. Learn when to use them, but also learn when not to use them. Might sound strange but basically when someone is shooting at you, or something like that. Don't be that scrub who pulls out a smoke/flash in a gun fight, lol. I know it was possibly dumb for me to mention that but when I smurf.... I see that crap a lot. If you can get in a corner and are stuck, use a smoke to block their sight/a pop flash and get out of that place. Also, you don't have to always use left click to throw a flash/smoke/or whatever. Use the right click to just basically drop it or throw it very slightly depending on your movement.
TEAMPLAY
Counterstrike is a team based game, not a you based game. This ain't COD where you can just go and do your own thing 24/7 and expect to win. Learn your calls, learn positions, learn to communicate with your team (tell them you are flashing so they don't get blinded/tell them to smoke something/tell them to nade/etc), call footsteps, enemy positions, etc. Learn to play with your team. Get to know them at the beginning of the round, etc. Flash for your teammates so they can get away/get the kill, throw a smoke so your teammate can run away, etc..
Video for Calls:
Dust2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xr0ba4cx97s
Inferno: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mdHX4YriIc4
and you can find the rest by the same guy. Since this is a teambased game, make friends that are around your skill level and continue playing MM with them. It'll be easier to communicate and all together funner.
GAME PLAY/GAME SENSE
Game sense... This one is hard to explain. Basically: Adapating to a situation, countering an enemy, staying calm, how to clutch, positioning, how to hold/retake, when to reload, prefiring corners, etc.. All them goody goodies.
These videos give information on this topic and the creator has a lot more:

Reloading: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aV4zoQ_2YM8
Don't move and shoot/block/do stupid things: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7MWlMtreRDY
Also, game sense is learned from watching professionals on how they play and communicate. ScreaM is one of the top players for learning how to position your crosshair/aim/prefire. So far one of the best streamers to show this. Movement will have to be Shroud/ScreaM as they have really nice and fluid movement. Adren is a good streamer to watch as well. MoE, not really xD but that could just be my opinion. TLDR: Watch pro streamers on twitch/youtube gameplays of professionals.
You gain this from not being stupid, thinking about situations, and over time through MMs/watching videos/streams/etc. This one is hard to teach as it takes time to obtain this one.

Save your flames, if any, and instead improve the information. All suggestions are welcome.
For GAME PLAY/GAME SENSE: Steel is also a good streamer to watch as he replays professional demos and tells you what they could have/should have done as well as teaches you basically everything you need to know about the game. He has a lot of videos on youtube and they are great to watch. This might be my personal opinion but I am just throwing that out there.
