Hey guys! I'm going to be making a video tutorial series, or multiple mini series soon. I'm a developer by trade and have built everything from websites to iPhone apps. I've worked for two startups full time and countless others freelance. Basically programming is my main skill set but I've done countless other things as well.

I'm just curious to see if what kinds of things members are currently interested in learning! (Doesn't have to be developer related)

Haha fair enough! It wouldn't be where I make something then leave you in the dark. More like the tutorials are supplementary lessons to mentor ship and hands on guidance.

I'd be around almost 24/7 for guidance, walkthroughs, questions.

Ideally I'd like to teach people hard skills they could use a lot.

Instead of having the tutorials pay to view, why not add them on youtube and make money from ads?

Theres 2 routes you would be best

1st route: Making money series
tbh this would make you a ton of $ but... I personally hate this cuz its always a waste of time and $ and guaranteed to make $427089590421415393301/day and really ur making nothing lol

What I would pay for is maybe a coding series or a gfx series which would be route 2

Going by personal Experience the average HF member doesn't spend too much on these forums (100-200$ a month maybe?). That means if you guys we're actually going to pay for a tutorial series + hands on help you'd really want it. I don't mean I'm going to go make it and charge you all (I can figure that stuff out later). What I want to know is what the current members are really interested in learning! (aka I want to create something you guys actually want! :)

Route #1: I don't want to do this. Trying to teach you HOW to make money online is a waste of both our times. I'd rather teach you a hard skill like development, design, SEO, going viral.

Something you COULD use to make money or just for fun.

Think in terms of value, and think in terms of targeting to offer that value to a certain fraction of users here on hf who have cash of $100 minimum. Also think in terms of production, on such a way you want them to keep coming back.

Know what mate, honestly I think Orgy was spot on here. This being a hacking forum, I bet each of us already know a way on how to work up or development/technical skills.

I have a great passion in sharing what I knew and what I learn and I saw that you too, bro, which is why I'm happy to see this thread. We're both not after the money anymore - they're just bonuses, incentives if you will. You and I here are about influence. Maybe we could agree on something that is worth of value in this forum.
