Can I make this text transparent or what, I can't find any info on it

I want to make a cool text such as this

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aMJbR8Cs1Aw

but I want it to be just the finished TEXT and design. I want to be able to put this text on any color or designed background, I don't want a black background.

How do I do this with photoshop cs6?
What retard am I listening to? Jesus fucking christ.

Add a Stroke around your text, go the side near the layers and it should say:

Fill : 100%

[Turn the Fill to 0; this makes it transparent]

You can then make the stroke transparency change if you click on it ; looks nicer if you have the stroke set to inside (1).

That doesn't really help me. It doesnt delete the black background and give me just the text with the neon glowing effect.

You add a new layer then delete the black layer? then it's transparent.
I you want the background layer to not be visible just hide it (the eye beside the layer). Im not sure what you actually want though this seems basic so im unsure if im awnsering your question properly
