Ok so long story short every time I try to access the Administration panel it says I need to re-authincitate which it has me enter the username again (Admin) then enter the password. Once I hit login (note I am already logged in as Admin) it redirects me back to the home page of my site. Any clue as to why this is happening? Thanks

Maybe take a look at the config.php file and see if it is configured correctly. And try making another account admin and see if you can login to the admincp that way. but in my eyes it looks like a misconfiguration in the config.php or you did not gave the /admin/index.php the right permissions. And the htaccess could also play a role in this.

Well if you did not understand what i said the you should probably switch to another board software like mybb or xenforo
