Whats the deal with DuckDNS? Are they cracking down as well?

Yeah duckdns is part of a honeypot network now.
Well, seems like all dns providers are cracking down.
Man, I knew it would not be long.

They saw the influx of malware use and did what every other free provider is going to do. - Crack down.

I find it again important to note the following thread:

For RA4WVPN users, I have premade DNS already, see THIS SPREAD SHEET
Where has the privacy of the web gone! I remember 3-5 years ago when ratting was never an issue. We all used no-ip without any issues, until they were bought out.

My Freenom domain was deactivated within a week after using it some time ago. Don't use it.
ya know out of all the things i've seen on here i'm suprised i havn't seen someone come forward and come out with a dns for people to use without fear of it being like noip or duckdns. If i own my own domain through godaddy how would i use it as a dynamic dns like freedns?

See Armada's post.. He does exactly that.

Namecheap even accepts BTC.

Yeah, i was thinking of this... there are domains even at 1$ with BTC there.

I have thought about this multiple times. I just need to sit down and do some research on how to do it.

Do you have a list for 143VPN servers? I can make one for you if you'd like, if not, I will jsut give you one server I normally use later in PM 🤝

I have quite a few 10Gbit servers laying around...

Better to use off shore ones

I will gladly generate a list if one is provided to me 😎
As someone mentioned several days ago, try to locate DNS providers that are not popular or common before even thinking about getting a domain name. This reduces the risk of getting your shit seized A LOT for these kind of purposes...

After most of these public DNS services went bitchy, I just stopped relying on any public DNS service providers at the moment... I'm taking advantage of a free domain name that is in-built an IP Camera that I own. The surveillance company that sells it (not gonna mention the name) hosts their own DDNS service for their customers to use and it's freaking amazing. I just need to keep the camera connected to my home Internet connection, it scans for IP changes every 1 minute or less and updates everything really fast. It's been more than a year and nothing has happened.
BUY A DOMAIN

Problem solved...
