Optimized: Welcome to the HF News Interview, before we start do you have any sort of shoutouts you would like to make? Gilli: I would like to give a shoutout to Epilepsy for being a cool guy.
Optimized: So, to begin, what are you interest and hobbies? How do you pursue them? Gilli: This year I got very into learning how to code, developing, I took classes in Programming & Networking, so I really enjoy doing that in my sparetime. My hobbies, I really enjoy spending time riding in the woods on my mountain bike and other than that spending time infront of the computer.
Optimized: That sounds fun! What made you initially join Hack Forums then? Gilli: I was talking two a couple of friends over Skype many years back, and we were extremly interested in programming. And I was very fascinated with hacking, so I went watching a lot of videos of people programming and I came across a video where Hackforums was in the description of the video, so I went to take a look and I registered.
Optimized: Very interesting, Gilli! You seem to have a strong interest in programming; what programming languages do you use the most? Gilli: I am indeed very interested in programming, I was learning programming at a school I went to but I didnt learn a lot from it, therefore I am not the best at it so I just trying to learn as much as I can by videos and tutorials. I am programming in C# and Python.
Optimized: Interesting. Have you ever considered creating, or created, a program in C# or Python and releasing/selling it on Hack Forums? Gilli: Yes and no. As said I am not very good at it yet, so it will take some time before I will release anything, but I have had the thought of making something for release, I just don't have the best imagination to just spit out ideas for projects.
Optimized: For sure, I think you would be a good programmer if you keep your self dedicated! I see you're in the Axiom group. Do you have any views on the group that you would publicly express? Gilli: Well thank you, I hope I will be able to come up with something eventually. I recently joined Axiom group as I have a huge passion for gaming, I really like the people that are in the group and the communication we have. We have a lot of fun in Axiom!
Optimized: Interesting, you're into gaming! What games do you play the most? Gilli: I currently play a lot of World of Warcraft when I just need something to do when I am bored, and I play Counter-Strike: Global Offensive with some friends as we try to climb up to Global Elite, have a lot of fun while playing. And I used to play a lot of Garry's Mod, I sometimes still go in the game and play some of the old servers I used to play on.
Optimized: Cool! If you could change or add one thing to Hack Forums, what would it be and why? Gilli: Hmm, It would probably be the Trust Scan feature, adding so you can see people pasts bans and the reason why they have been banned. The reason for this would to be able to know who you deal with.
Optimized: Sound's pretty dope! Would you say that Hack Forums benefits you positively in regards to programming at the moment? Gilli: Yea I do think it benefits me, as it gives me inspiration and new techniques to do stuff, ideas and gives me a deeper knowledge of the programming language, learning new things all the time by looking over peoples stuff.
Optimized: Indeed! Do you take any Python or C# tutorials from Hack Forums? Gilli: I've seen one or two tutorials on Python from Hack forums, I cant remember which one though, I just remember it was the basis which I already knew, but was very informative for new people learning the language.
Optimized: Do you feel the tutorials on Hack Forums are simple to follow and would allow beginners learning Python/C# to understand it easier? Gilli: Yes, they were very informative and explaining.
Optimized: Alright, thanks for joining us on this week's edition of the Hack Forums News Interview, do you have anything you would like to say before we finish? Gilli: I'd like to thank you for the opportunity to interview me.

ATM Self-Destructed after Cash Was Stolen
A new malware called 'GreenDispenser' enables hackers to simply withdraw cash and walk away undetected. This is done by putting up a false "Out of service" message, depriving a person the use of an ATM. The question still remains of how the malware is fitted to a machine. Security researcher, Haq, believes "Initial malware installation likely requires physical access to the ATM". GreenDispenser has no restrictions as to where it can be used, whether it be in another country or region. The malware is also coded to self-destruct and get rid of any trace of its existence - after the hacker has done its dirty work. A lot of speculation and questions still surround security researchers, as to how the malware operates and how it renders an ATM clean of malware. >>Source
Security Hole Left SAP with a Temporary Puzzle to Solve
Systems, Applications, and Products (SAP) take on a temporary knock when their vision is merely skewed, as they face a vulnerability which allows hackers to remotely wipe mobile phones. SAP are known to provide management systems to companies so they're able to wipe a phone (which has been declared lost or stolen) clean remotely. The hack is done by bypassing an authentication process, which would then allow a hacker to send a supposedly secure message giving them the ability to: unlock/lock, wipe, and disable certain features of a mobile phone. All hackers need to know about the target is their transmitter ID, IMEI, and time-stamp. More than a hundred and thirty thousand phones are believed to be vulnerable, this includes the popular iOS and Android. >>Source
Google Project Zero Deems Kaspersky Exploitable
Researcher Ormandy of Google Project Zero has given Kaspersky the heads-up in regards to their newly found vulnerabilities. Through the process of fuzz testing, Ormandy reported severe vulnerabilities to Kaspersky Lab which could have been used in a "complete compromise of any Kaspersky Antivirus user". Fuzz testing is widely used to discover security loops or coding errors within a software. Ormandy has said to of done this by flooding the antivirus product with random information. Google Project Zero have a history of discovering flaws in different antivirus products. >>Source
I Know My Rights: Cell Passcodes
For years it the courts had not been caught up with modern technology, then slowly piece by piece things started to change. First email required a warrant, then phones needed a warrant to be searched and now the 5th amendment applies to cell phones lock screens. In a ruling from a federal court that judged ruled that being forced to give up a passcodes does in fact violate ones rights and you cannot be forced to give it. Apple Has A Ghost Problem
Apple has yet another ghost in the wires, but not the traditional hacker sense. XcodeGhost is an exploit capable of injecting malicious code into legitimate iOS and OS X applications first discovered several months ago. The exploit can be used as a MITM attack, for phishing or for adware which is currently the most popular choice. When originally discovered only a few app where thought to be infected now that number could be over 4000. With most of the apps in china not much is currently to be worried about, however a few apps used around the world where also found to be running it. For now only install apps from trusted sources and developers until Apple deals with their ghost problem. >>Source
AVG'R'US
A few months ago it was discovered by users that AVG was using their toolbar to track every site that was visited. AVG denied these claims at the time, now at an unsurprising turn of events in a "new" policy they announced that they will in fact be selling all your data. With a company trusted with security having admin privileges giving them access to a ton of information this firmly pushes AVG into spyware. If you are running it I would uninstall and look for a new option, our information is be trusted and not sold. >>Source
Uncharted 4 Delayed to Help Get the Ending Right
Naughty Dog finally came out with it's decision to delay the release of Uncharted 4 from fall 2015 to March 2016. Here' more information on that; "It was a very hard decision," Druckmann said in the latest issue of OPM (via GamesRadar). Uncharted 4 is the final game in the series to star Nathan Drake, and Druckmann teases that the studio has something special in mind for the very last scene. Getting this right took more time than previously anticipated. "Even when I'm describing the ending, it's a pretty... Well, I guess this is a little bit of a spoil... Nah, I'm not going to say it! But there is something that happens that requires quite a bit of work for what we want it to do," Druckmann said. "And again, we would have had to reduce that scope and reduce that ambition to meet that [original] deadline.">>Source

North America Has Officially Run Out of IPv4 Addresses
As of September 24, North America officially ran out of new IPv4 addresses. The American Registry for Internet Numbers (ARIN), the nonprofit organization responsible for issuing IP addresses in North America, announced yesterday that it has issued the final free-pool 32-bit IP addresses. When questioned, ARIN boss John Curran stated that he expects very little new IPv4 address space to become available at ARIN, so those waitlisted for address space shouldn't get their hopes up. Even thought this won’t affect normal Internet users, it will put immense pressure on Internet service providers, software companies, and large organizations to accelerate their migration to IPv4’s successor, IPv6. >>Source
Google Launches Cloud Dataproc Beta
Getting insights out of big data is typically an arduous task, but Google is aiming to streamline the process with a new, managed service for Hadoop and Spark with the launch of Dataproc. This new cloud service is designed to help companies create clusters quickly, manage them easily and turn them off when they're not needed. Independent startups like Qubole, Altiscale, and Xplenty offer commercial software for running open-source Hadoop on top of public clouds, but now there’s an option that’s native to the Google Cloud Platform. >>Source
Blackberry to Release Their First Android Phone This Year
Struggling for relevance in the cellular industry, BlackBerry is turning to Android for a helping hand. BlackBerry stated on Friday, September 25th, that it would make a phone that runs the Android operating system, confirming a rumor that has been in circulation for months. The move to Android should address at least one limitation of the appeal of BlackBerry’s smartphone: a lack of apps. The Android phone, now referred to as Priv, will be able to run more than one million apps already created for it's very own Google Play Store. >>Source
