In Canada, they don't use anything chambered in 7.62.
Here in the USA, we use 5.56/.223 and 9mm, both of which are smaller than 7.62. I don't know where you're getting these bullshit facts from.

I don't think swat is going to show up without a warrant, or probable cause.
If they were coming for you because you committed a crime, they have a warrant.
If someone swats you, the team has probable cause.

I DO know what rounds they use.

The only time SWAT would use anything near 7.62 is for sniping purposes (usually .243 or .308). And we're not talking about "depending on their current mission", we're talking about them arriving at some kids house to recover his harddrive and arrest him, which would be no reason to use anything chambered in 7.62.
