i really don't like how the purple text fades into the background and cuts a bit of it off.

I honestly think if you wanted to take it for instagram or twitter.

Look at the color scheme their site has, this would be a better approach.

As another user said I don't like the fade effect, especially with the dark colored background as it just blends into the thread making it almost unreadable.
