So back in 2012 a friend of mine directed me to this forum, it was then that I signed up as I always had an interest every now and then about hacking friends as a joke. Originally, me and that friend also got a Keylogger program and had made a 'hl2_install.exe' (was only 2MB if I remember) and gave it to our friend who was only starting out in computer gaming. He didn't realise how small it was, but we went along with it until we told him a day later cause something wasn't setup right so we basically failed. Since then I've been on and off Hackforums, it's always caught my interest and I just like how there are so many areas to discuss in.
Initially starting on this forum, I gave away Black Ops Zombies (iOS) and then various other iOS apps. After while I gave away a Steam Game Sid Mier's Civilisation V. Around that time I began getting into Graphic Design, giving out Carbon Userbars and a Minecraft Thread Template. Eventually, I also made a tutorial on How to make an Animated Signature as well. All this turned into me starting up my first ever service, making graphics for free to try better my skills. This to me was exciting as I was getting a lot of requests and it felt good to try improve my skills and give back to the community. After that I slowed down on Graphics and began moving towards gaming, Minecraft specifically, and created a tutorial on Factions and McMMO. After a long break I came back to try get into the Marketplace, an area at first I was afraid of going into as I see it as a very mixed community, between scammers, and trusted users and it can get bad, but I tried with an Origin Shop which received a few sales, however not enough to give towards Hackforums.
Now currently, I'm getting together my own money to try get to Uber and finally try out the Marketplace again, and hopefully, with enough sales be able to do some giveaways again back when I started.
Overall, all I'm saying here is this community is very diverse, you never know what will happen and the things you'll see. As a normal member for the past three years it has really helped me and this is a really remarkable community. There are many many helpful users around and lots of different sections to get information from. I feel when I originally joined it was mostly around Hacking, however after you actually look around it's a really great community, and also a great learning ground. Without Hackforums I wouldn't have thought about getting into Graphics, make tutorial threads and try out selling items (business area) and getting into money making. I can confidently say Hackforums is an amazing place for information and finding users to help you out. Hoping for another great 3 years ahead and cannot wait to see what else comes up.
