This is pretty helpful and I glad you sticky this, never knew you need to register drones over 0.55lb.
I don't know if you have to register drones in other countries.
Always confirm in PM before dealing. Beware of impersonators.
Thanks OP! Great guide :)
I see the point in registering drones. Don't want someone flying around and causing havoc without a potential reciprocation.
This is cool, Thank you green goblin ! :)

Nope. I went to registration site and clicked a button to register and it said site is configured to block my country.
So, pretty sure its only for the US.
It will be good if you can record a video mentioning those precautions so it will promote your company :)

I've been dying to get one. What's a decent affordable one?
Supposedly there are quite a few issues surfacing with these drones some people got for Christmas.
Just last night a flight landing at Boston Logan Airport recognized a drone flying extremely high and very close to them over the airport which is obviously very illegal.
Seeing that's one of many times that's happened I wouldn't be surprised if that some day in the near future they try adding some sort of new regulation to them or maybe even just ban them completely. I'm honestly shocked that they're allowed to be sold and purchased to begin with, some of them are military grade.
bugga told me I'm a cutie

I don't understand why there is so much regulation on drones when RC Helicopters and airplanes have been around for ages and can do about the same things but aren't required to be regulated (outside of the FAA & FCC laws and such) or registered.

I guess it's because drones can fly further distances and take pictures.
