Removal of Private Data in Orders Database

https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=5175320

Since I no longer log the shipping address and some other data I have decided to remove the insertion into the database the following columns for the orders table:

FirstName
LastName
Email
Address
City
State
Zip
Country
Phone

The columns have been deleted so even on previous orders they are no longer stored in HF database.

I know some members have shown concern about the data. So this should quell some of those worries.

Thank you.
Damn, this is a good change for those who were worried about their personal information being known. 👍
Good shit.

That's great man!
Finally another step forward to bitcoin only. ;)
Thanks for doing this Omni. Many members wanted their data deleted.
Wouldn't this make it harder for you to find multiaccounters, and what happens if a member who purchased something in the past charges back?
I don't middleman any deals on- or off-site. Please don't message me requesting my past services and certainly don't fall for anybody who claims to be me.
Very Intresting, many members would want this gone as it is personal info I guess...........

No PayPal

All he uses is crypto, making it impossible to chargeback.
So theres no name and shaming anymore.

What about people that paid and charged back with PP before it was no longer an accepted currency? Does that mean they cannot be named and shamed anymore?

He/She is talking about the old payments done through PayPal.

He/She is talking about someone who purchased an award or upgrade via PayPal in the past. They would still be able to chargeback with PayPal.
Edit: Beat me to the explanation Minimalist. 😑
Wait so you deleted all old data, and you will never collect any more again?
This is a very nice change, also the switch to BTC only is a very good choice.
