Yes, researching/analyzing. How many hours did you spend when you started, and how about now?

- What is your risk level recommendation for having consistant profits over 10%/year?

- What tips do you have to get better at trading stocks and get to your level of expertise?

- What do you feel you're lacking that could take you to the next level of trading, and making more money? (ex. software, more money to invest, more time)

When I started I maybe spent an hour a week lmao. Now I spend around 1-2 hours depending on the day.

1. Invest in good blue chip stocks with nice dividends.
2. Read some lessons/tips and practice on trading games. Also do research on different methods and strategies and try to learn about why stocks are changing etc.
3. More money by far would be what i need
What advice would you give to someone worried about the tax implications that comes along with investing? For example, i invested with prosper for a few months but pulled out because i didn't want to needlessly increase my tax liability.

If you're doing it right you should be making money even with taxes. The primary risk with stocks isn't taxes it's the volatility of the stocks themselves.

To add, if you're at a net loss, you can write off a portion of your profits but you will still be taxed on the rest. You can then carry it over to the next year which would then allow you more time to have a net profit. The taxable profit would then be the net profit minus the loss carried over.

There's definitely some more info that may be applicable to people in the US but as I abide by Canadian tax rules, I really don't know much outside of this.

Well my dad was the one who initially taught me the basics. But I started out investing in more blue chip companies like Starbucks, Microsoft, etc back in 2012 and now am investing in etf's, lower-cap stocks, etc. Investopedia is a good place to start yes.

At one point I was at a 310% profit. Right now I'm investing very risky and have lost quit a bit while holding (all planned in a way). I'm down to around a little above 200% profit.
I have around 2 million dollars to invest with. Any tips on anything i can do? Good sites to read ect?

If you're serious, focus on bonds/blue chip stocks with good dividends such as JNJ, Pfizer, Procter & Gamble, Microsoft, etc. You don't need to risk as much if you're investing with a lot of money unless you're feeling super risky. You'll get 5%+ per year just from dividends alone. Forbes and Investopedia are good sites to start out with.
I was able to get into oil (MPC) in February at I believe around $32, think it will rise over summer as it tends to, or sell now for a nice profit?

In my personal opinion I believe oil is just having a small rally. I think it will go back down. It's really hard to say though honestly.
